What a lovely little local pizza shop. My wife and I have been searching for a reliable neighborhood spot for good pizza, and I think we’ve finally found it. The pizza is classic New York style and tastes fantastic. The dough is fresh and flavorful, the sauce has just the right amount of tang, and the mozzarella they’re using is the real deal. Just great pizza all around.

My wife ordered the bruschetta, and it came out looking incredible. She said it tasted just as good as it looked. We’re already planning to come back and try some of the pasta dishes on the menu.

The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. The decor is a little lacking in some areas, it seems like they’re going for a theme, but it’s not totally clear what that is. That’s me being picky, though, because everything else was fantastic.

Prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. We’ll absolutely be back.

Such a cute hidden gem with great Italian food. I usually order different pastas and pizzas here and love them, but this time my boyfriend and I branched out and tried the cheeseburger subs, and they were delicious. Super flavorful, filling, and definitely something I’d order again.

My family eats only organic and very healthy. Bake our own breads organic from scratch etc. at home. We rarely eat out because most restaurants use junk ingredients. When we do eat out we eat pizza and subs. We travel to Angelino’s in Philly, Franks in Baltimore, NJ, NYC we travel to eat the best pizza places known period. York County is not a desirable place for good pizza. However they’re serving real flour here to make their fresh bread daily, make their pizzas etc. Unbleached and potassium bromate free. This makes the elasticity harder to work with which is why most pizza shops around here cut corners and use crap flour. I do recommend ordering the pies crispy for the absolute best presentation and taste. All the wood fire pizzas are very good as are the regular pies. Their cheesesteak sub which I tweaked to have provolone, chopped ribeye and fried onions versus white American is very good as well. Made with their fresh daily baked bread. Gold Crust always had the best cheesesteaks in town, they may have just gotten knocked off that block. Probably the only place we will eat pizza around here ever again for these reasons. Good job guys!!!

Food allergy families beware!

Starting out by saying I hate writing negative reviews and almost never do, but this felt important to share. Also, our waitress was WONDERFUL and 100% did her best to check everything we ordered.

Both of my children have a dairy allergy. Not a dietary preference. An allergy. Before ordering, I told our waitress about their allergy and I asked about dairy ingredients in each thing I was ordering 2-3 separate times (and each time our lovely waitress went back and asked the owner, who said none of it had dairy in it). I felt bad for asking so much, but I had a bad feeling and hoped it would catch anything that could be in the food.

The food arrives, I give my kids a fry – only one, to see if they reacted – and sure enough, my daughter gets a rash and my son’s throat and mouth start to itch. When the front staff are asking the cook staff about it again, one of the ladies up front says “no, it DOES matter because the baby has a rash.” Then it’s confirmed that everything I ordered had dairy ingredients it. Our waitress took everything off the check we couldn’t eat and we immediately paid for my husband’s food and left to get Benadryl for the kids.

Food allergies are SERIOUS, and I don’t feel like the owner cares very much about food allergies and/or is not knowledgeable about exactly what is in the food. We’re going to be up for the better part of the night making sure our son doesn’t need additional medical care. Food allergies can be life or death, and they should have been taken more seriously by Ferrante’s ownership/management.

Yum! I have been wanting to try this place and we finally did! The rigatoni vodka pasta’s sauce was AMAZING! Very flavorful and unique. Been looking for a good sub in York County – finally a homemade roll – SO good! I feel like this Italian Restaurant may be kind of forgotten about here on Pauline Drive but I highly suggest you give it a try!

Our first time here after seeing numerous posts with pics & specials on Nextdoor. We were not disappointed! We were seated immediately & drinks were served promptly. We split the breaded zucchini spears, each had a salad, hubby had lasagna & garlic bread & I had lobster & shrimp ravioli. I have a butter allergy & they accommodated me by giving me plain bread. Our waitress was most efficient with her callbacks & service with a smile every time. We will definitely be returning!

We got cheese steak subs a side of fresh. The food was really good. But I ordered raw onions and got fried on my sub. We will be back to try there pizza. Service was good, place is really clean. We didn’t know that there was a bar inside too.

I visited Ferrante’s in the greater York area, drawn by its positive reviews. The 25-minute drive was worth it if the food was great, but unfortunately, it fell short. The phone ordering experience was smooth, and the staff greeted me promptly upon arrival.

I ordered a 14″ margherita pizza, eggplant sub, and fettuccini alfredo with a side salad and garlic bread. The margherita pizza was the highlight, with a well-baked bottom and sufficient mozzarella. However, the sauce lacked balance and flavor, and the crust could’ve been crisper.

The eggplant sub had plenty of mozzarella but lacked eggplant. The fettuccini alfredo was a major disappointment – it lacked parmesan flavor and was essentially inedible. We threw away most of it, wasting $16. The garlic bread tasted more like buttered bread, and the side salad’s blood orange dressing was good but overshadowed by jarred sweet peppers and vast amount of iceberg lettuce.

Overall, our meal felt short in several areas. Given my first experience was underwhelming, I don’t think I’ll be returning. Maybe I’ll try a slice of cheese if I’m in the area, but for now, I’d pass.

We ordered 12 lemon pepper wings and a cheeseburger sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, Mayo. The wings had no seasoning at all and the cheeseburger had only burger and cheese. Cheese not hot or melted at all. The wings were good aside from not having the seasoning I requested. The sub was incredibly dry, the burger itself very overcooked.

EDITED

On the menu in doordash, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo already appear under the cheeseburger sub. Aside from that, the burger was dry, overcooked and riddled with random hard pieces of gristle. You can see from the picture that is not an appetizing cheeseburger sub. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Amazing pizza place. The people were very friendly. The food was delicious. They accidentally messed up Stromboli and told me to eat the one I was on and they made me a extra to take home. They go over the top here really recommend them.
