Today stopped in to try their burgers. The company is called “Revival state burgers”.
decided to go with the OKC
– 2 patties
– potato bun
– grilled onions
– American cheese
– creamy garlic aioli
– Dijon mustard
It’s hard to not be bomb with that line up of ingredients. size wise it resembles the portion of a “double double” just minus the veggies. I know this isn’t a “smash burger” a little but of crisp/caramelization would take this over the top. Solid solid solid burger. Would come back for it.
Other things to consider, I have had the Ube latte from the coffee shop. That’s great also.
Worth a check out.
Environment is really cute and bright. A great spot to work quietly during the weekday while sipping drinks, or to meet a group of friends!
I’ve been a few times now and am looking forward to seeing all the new concepts they will have in rotation.
Since their opening, I’ve come to this place about 6x. It’s the only local coffee shop within walking distance of my place and their drinks are so so good.
808 Drip
– Open early at 7:30 am, I’ve been grabbing coffee for myself, my coworkers in Burlingame, and driving them to my friends in Milpitas. Their drinks, for me, is in the vein of the asian “not too sweet” which, I think, is the highest compliment of them all.
[Honey Lavender Latte] My coworker says this is better than the honey lavender latte at Caffe Central. I’m not usually down for floral but I did enjoy the taste of it
[Coconut Brown Sugar Latte] I don’t even like coconut but the coconut cream top so made this drink
[Black Sesame Latte] Not too sweet but very black sesame, this is a must for black sesame lovers
[Original Matcha] Add the vanilla cream top to this and it’s one of the sweetest actually matcha tasting matcha I’ve had in the area
[Strawberry/Mango Matcha Latte] Boba Guys strawberry matcha latte used to be my ultimate favourite, this one has surpassed them for me
[Yuzu Matcha Tea Refresher] Something light and refreshing, it was still good on day 2
If you couldn’t tell, I literally went through their entire drink menu. You really can’t go wrong with any of them
Roost & Roast
– Open just a tad bit later than 808 Drip, I’m literally obsessed with their roti and their Hat Yai Chicken. The sauce is so good and honestly I always want more than just one container.
To finish this off, the owners and the workers are so nice and always check in to make sure I’m doing alright and have enough of everything if I’m ordering takeout. When I make additional notes for the drink (like no ice so I can take it to Burlingame without it being watered down) they always make sure to keep note of it.
The place is super airy, clean, with plenty of seats to sit down to eat or work. As this location is at the end of an intersection, you may be wondering where you need to park. There is parking right behind the establishment so no need to hunt for it too much.
As this is a food hall, I still need to make my way to Srasa, Revival State Burgers, and Hangry Sons but I’m sure they’re just as great as 808 Drip and Roost & Roast.
Kurated Kitchen is a fantastic addition to Sunnyvale’s food scene. Offering five different menus under one roof, it’s like having five restaurants in one spot! They have something for everyone: coffee, boba, and tea from The 808 Drip, modern Thai cuisine at Roost & Roast, build-your-own Asian-inspired bowls at Srasa, mouthwatering burgers at Revival State Burgers, and tasty rice plates from Hangry Sons.
This is my second visit, and both experiences were excellent. On my first visit, I tried the burger “The OG.” It was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The bun was perfect, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. An all-around delicious burger!
On my second visit, I went with the Roost & Roast menu. I ordered the popcorn chicken and roti & curry, and once again, I was not disappointed. The popcorn chicken was fresh and hot, though I wish they had chili powder instead of chili flakes. That said, the dish was still tasty. The roti and curry were a standout—three large pieces of soft, flaky roti paired with a rich, coconut milk-forward curry that was so good it could be sipped on its own.
Beyond the food, the vibe of Kurated Kitchen is clean and minimalist with a modern, casual feel. The open seating makes it easy to relax, whether you’re dining solo or with a group. You place your order at a kiosk, and the food is brought right to your table. The service is excellent, and the owners, Clayton and Brandon, are always around to ensure customers have a great experience. They’re incredibly kind and committed to serving the community.
Overall, Kurated Kitchen offers a wide variety of well-prepared dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service, making it a must-visit spot. I’m looking forward to trying more from their diverse menus!
