Literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. It’s the whitest fried rice I’ve ever seen. The chicken in both dishes is boiled and bland. The szechuan chicken is covered in the most bland sauce. Veggies are limp. This is absolutely horrid. I seriously regret stopping here. I go to the Asian Star in Bartlett all the time. I mistakenly thought they were the same company. Apparently they are not. Literally went right into my trash. My husband is making us Ramen as I type this.

I was eating here about once a week. Food is wonderful & porportions awesome. I’m disabled and would have Uber Eats deliver. They stopped delivering here and said that it’s too far. Pizza Hut, KFC & Burger King just to name few of the restaurants around them deliver to my address.

What has happened when this place first opened it was delicious, but last night I couldn’t even eat my food. I had beef mei fun And the meat was so chewy and nasty. My husband got beef and broccoli, and it was the same thing the beef with chewy and gross. The Asian star in Bartlett was so good. Asian Star is a great local spot for a quick bite of Asian cuisine. Their service is quick from order to finished dishes. I never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for food. It’s a “order at the counter” style restaurant but offer convenient seating if you want to dine in! If you have a craving for extra fortune cookies, ask nicely and they’ll throw a few extra in the bag! Great food, service and experience!

First off, this is a small hole in the wall across the street from Wal-Mart. Entering the place, you realize that this is a baswic strip mall establishment …. utilitarian interior design yet neutral and comforting on the eyes and nerves.
Today, I kept my order simple with hot and sour soup and Moo= Goo Gai Pan.
The young lady working the from desk was easy to talk with and carried out her mission promptly – she gets a well done.
The soup color at first made me wonder …. its pale!!! At home I use black Vinegar and prefer a darker color and sharp vinegar flavor.
After tasting it, it gets my blessing, and yes, I would order it again. There was some vinegar taste, maybe the cook used some white vinegar – not sure and a slight amount of heat.
It came hot, so there were no clumps of thickener flaoting under the surface.
So, don’t let the color bother you. Hot and Sour Soup is very objective…. The quality can vary with a full pot of soup at lunch time or the end of the pot later in the day ….
The Moo Goo Gai Pan [ Chicken with Mushrooms and Vegtables ] was excellent. This also was tasty. For some unusual reason, this is my fvorite Cantonese Chinese recipe …. the sauce was good and there was an adequate amount. Yes I would order this again.
Justification for the 5 Star Review.

The interior design, done in strip mall charm was neutral and pleasant.
The food was good and the price was reasonable.
Note: I previously tried to do a review and post the pictures. The pictures made it to the picture section and the review got lost in space, so this is about a month after the fact.
