I had been wanting to try fufu for a while now. I got the egusi and fufu as well as the meat pies. They were all delicious and wonderful. I was so happy with my meal. I will definitely take my friends there. The egusi was savory with a kick and the soft chewy fufu paired really well.

I’ve been wanting to try African food especially fufu for a while now. I decided to check this place out and oh my GOD it was some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted in my life. The egusi soup was full of spices and so flavorful. The meat pie was perfect. I loved it all! Thank you!

I just ordered the Jollof Rice and Jerk Chicken meal. It’s not like Jamaican Jerk Chicken but it is sooo good. I also got a meat pie. I was told it’s like a Jamaican Beef Patty but it had a different thickness to it that I wasn’t used to so I was a little taken aback on that one. For my drink I bought a BB Cocktail de Fruits. I thought it was juice but it’s more like a fruit soda. I like it. When I called to order my food I was told that they no longer had regular size plates. Only large. At first I was going to change my mind but decided to just split it with someone instead. I’m glad I did. I will definitely return and recommend this place to my friends.

What a hidden gem! I am shocked this place does not have more reviews. When we went (around 6pm, on Saturday), the dining room was fairly empty, but customers did pop in for their food pick up.
I think everyone should know about this place. It is amazing. My husband and I had never had African food, so we weren’t sure what to order. He ended up getting the fried chicken, and I tried the (whole) fried fish. Both had crisp skin and were cooked to perfection. The rice was also absolutely yummy. And, while we waited, we were asked if we wanted meat pies. Those were golden with flaky crust and a soft meat and onion mixture. I recommend it all.
Great place, wonderful food, kind staff!

The Waakye is the best. I have tried it a couple of times. It doesn’t make me miss home as a Ghanaian. Worth the price!!!

Live right next door and came by for the first time. Delicious chicken and plantains. Rice may have been a little old but it was super slow on a Monday so just glad they were open. My Togo box weighed more than I could eat; plenty of bang for your buck here. Very satisfied and would be interested in coming in for dinner sometime.

We saw that this place opened up and decided to give it a try since we like to be adventurous when it comes to food. Very new restaurant and we didn’t know much about the food so we asked them just to give us a few authentic dishes so we could see what they had. The brought out jerk chicken with fried rice, casava leaf stew with white rice, and fried fish with casava root couscous. Everything was super flavorful and portions were large. Prices were great considering the portions. 4 of us tasted 3 meals and we had 2 to go boxes to take home. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

We enjoyed pur experience at Africa’s Best! My husband and I tried attieke with red snapper fish and egusi soup with fufu. The service and atmosphere was so nice, they were warm and inviting and have such warm spirits. We will definitely be back whenever in Louisville again!

If I could give a 0 star I would, worst restaurant I’ve been to, I order acheke and got an order of plain mayo with no vegetables at all for my acheke, portions are extremely small for the price, and too much baking soda for the torborgee! Please be careful when ordering your meal because you might get a missing ingredient, please stick to Liberian food and don’t make Nigerian/Ghanaian food if you don’t know how to make it! I’m extremely disappointed in trying to support my own people business and feeling like I’m being scammed for my own meal.
