There is a reason the rating for location is so bad. They are consistently slow and make every order you make a regret. Don’t order from this location unless you plan on waiting more than 15-20, even if you’re using the mobile app for curbside. In addition, if you make a mobile order, be ready to get down and get your own food, because they will either forget or be very slow to get your order out to your vehicle. I know what you’re thinking, “if I go through the drive thru, they will serve me faster.” Wrong, they will ask you to park in the mobile area and wait. Going inside is a horrible experience as well because you either have to wait at least 5 minutes for someone to take your order or order at one of the kiosks, which will have you waiting just like you would if you ordered a mobile order. The atmosphere in the dining area is abysmal. Remember the time when McDonald’s used to have play places and interactive areas for kids and a homey atmosphere? Well this location is completely void of any of that. It is most soul crushing and uninspired place to take kids to eat and have a fun dining experience. The staff look as if they are working like a chain gang, like they are only there because a court ordered it, zero patience and drive. I have tried this location several times thinking that the bad experience is only a one off, wrong, it is the norm at this location. You have been warned.

This McDonald’s continues to be the slowest location I’ve ever been to. This is now the fourth time I’ve waited over 30 minutes for a simple drive-thru order. They ask you to pull into a drive-thru spot and then completely forget about you. This is the second time I’ve had to get out of my car and go inside to ask for my food, only to find out they weren’t even making it. Meanwhile, cars behind me get their meals and leave while I’m still sitting there waiting.

The drive-thru is always extremely slow, and the service is consistently unreliable. If you want fast or even decent service, do not come to this location. Go to the one on W Lincoln St — or honestly, just go to Chick-fil-A if you want good service.

This location has officially lost my business. Definitely not coming back.

Went to drive thru, placed order ,got to window to pick it up. They directed me to #1 spot to wait. 20 minutes later I finally got mine bacon,egg cheese biscuit. I inquired why it took so long. She said”I think they were waiting on bisquits.” It was almost cold. Look at picture. Not even same order #

We were initially happy that a McDonald’s was opening 1 minute from our house but every time we go without fail our order is always wrong or we’re waiting 20 minutes for a simple order. I don’t know what’s going on with the workers but there is a clear lack of attention to detail at this McDonald’s. We’d rather drive 10 min to go to Dixieland than have to drive back to get all our food.

Man,this is my second time coming to this “new” McDonald’s ‍♂️ in Primera. Why do I keep putting myself throught this disappointment. Because I have 2 young kiddos who love McDonald’s, thats why.. So here we are right after school. No cars in the drive thru, should be a quick pick up and go. Oh no, why would it be. I get my order placed and paid for by 1520. Apparently from the drive thru ticket on the bag says it was ready at 1523. I was asked to park on curbside pick #4. Waited 5 minutes, 10 minutes then for the hell of it gave it another 10 minutes to see if I had been forgotten about. At 1540 I was inside talking to the young lady at the register asking for my meal (not her fault obviously.) From what I could gather in the little time I was in the restaurant picking up my drive thru order was that the manager and her crew need a do over. It did not seem as though any one was working with a sense of urgency or could care less about customers that were asked to park. Luckily my meal was right. Unfortunately everything was cold. I wasn’t going to waste more time at this establishment when I can nuke this ( what should be pipping hot) fast food meal at home. Unless you have time to kill, I would avoid this McDonald’s at all cost. What happened to the mystery shoppers from back in the day? Corporate should pay this one a surprise visit, say about the time they get thier rush hour. Just saying.

I seriously waited 25 minutes for two sandwiches: one egg sandwich and one a biscuit sandwich. whoever is running this restaurant needs to be replaced ASAP. What is the point of ordering on the app if you’re still going to wait 25 minutes in the parking spot.

Definitely don’t like this McDonald’s, my son I went for a late night snack. Went through the drive thru, placed my order, then proceeded to pay. When I get to the second window the rude girl making faces gives me the coke, then the frappe that we had ordered, which was super messy and didn’t even close right, asked her to close it right of course. I ask her for a straw and again makes faces. She then gives me an order that was ready, I always check my orders because I’m allergic to mustard and to my surprise it was the wrong order. I tell her ( I touched the fries ) this is someone else’s order. The person in the back tells her park her, by this time I’m already heated up for her making faces, and I tell her I’m not parking, so then she tells the person in the back she’s not moving. So I tell her, tell them why I’m not moving, but anyways the manager comes and tells me can you please park, I just preheated the grills so it’s going to take a little bit longer, I decide to park and like 15- 20 minutes later nothing, I go around to get a refund, I see the same manager leaving and I tell him can I just have my money back, and since he was leaving he said just drive to the second window and ask for Lupe the other manager. I get to the window ask for Lupe and he also takes forever to give me the refund.. They should have told me since the beginning they were cleaning the grills and I wouldn’t have ordered a quarter pounder… HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ALMOST AN HOUR WAITING FOR NOTHING, NEW MANAGEMENT IS NEEDED IN THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!! BTW I asked Lupe for the name of the girl to write the reason of the refund and he said I can not give you that info, but the other manager can give me Lupes name, plus they have name tags. One last thing I hope they changed the person in the back their fries, I did tell the manager I had touched them and he said that’s not a problem I’ll switch them… ( sure he did lol )

These corporate chains are moving faster ran I can keep up. I don’t like all this online ordering and us old folks are getting crappy service. When we order on the counter it takes forever for us to get our food. I see those that go to the kiosk and immediately get their food and they’re on their way and us that go to counter to order are still there waiting for our food. Kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth

20 – 30 minute waits every time and I’ve been coming here since they opened. I’m never supporting this location again. EVERY TIME it’s a half hour wait and they still don’t even make the orders right , and there’s nobody else around you can have 2 cars in drive thru no one in the store and they still can’t make the orders. It shouldn’t be this hard to get food. Anyway I’m just done with all the mcdonald’s in this area , the one in Town on Lincoln always messes up my order, go check my review they gave me 2 pieces of bread last time I went there as a sandwich. 2 pieces of bread dude. La Feria is also awful , all the mcdonald’s in the area, the management just don’t care or something

Came here just to give my daughter a quick ice cream cone just as a “quick” snack. 15 min in curbside, had to go inside. Told the guy what was happening and his exact words were “that’s it?”. He then gave me my cone and didn’t say anything. Not my worst McDonalds experience in Harlingen or my worst McDonald’s experience but not a good experience none the less. Either way, employees are an extension of your management so this location definitely needs a management upgrade…
