Great people! I had a great experience. They’re super sweet at this location, I always come here. This girl with blonde hair and ponytail, I don’t know her name but she was super sweet today and gave me some awesome food!

Absolutely horrible service employees were ignorant and nasty with an attitude and every time they were done with somebody’s order, they would go into the back of the store listen to videos and music and not come back to the front of the store until another customer came in very unprofessional. The food was horrible. The sushi rolls did not stay together. They were breaking apart as soon as you pick them up really bad service at this location. I will drive the extra mile and go to the one in Albuquerque uptown by the target and the Starbucks down there. They are 1000 times better than this location. I have never experienced horrible service like this and terrible sushi 2 bites of my burrito and two sushi rolls and threw the rest away absolutely pathetic and horrible and bad customer service. These people need better training absolutely ignorant people so I highly recommend you guys to go to the Albuquerque uptown location. Their sushi is 100 times better than this location Will never go back to this location again.

Amazing experience at Sushi Freak! Nick and Jeremiah are absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and they truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Their energy and customer service made the visit even better, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Jeremiah was the sole guy behind the bar on a Friday night, but he was working fast!! You should have seen his hands moving so quickly- it was like a blur! Despite being the only person at work tonight, he had a smile on his face and a positive attitude, and he made me an excellent spicy young roll, and gave me soy sauce when I requested with a smile on his face.

Stopped here on the way out of town and it was very tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Loved all the choices. It’s like Subway in the respect that you can basically just point to whatever you want behind the glass and they’ll put it in your bowl! It was very reasonably priced and everything was very clean. We recently were in Hawaii eating poké bowls and this place honestly had more options than many places we went to there. It was DEFINITELY cheaper by a long shot too! Give it a try!

I always love Sushi Freak, the nachos are *chefs kiss*! But the reason why I am writing a review at this location is because the staff were incredibly kind and patient, even while being busy. It was two guys during a lunch rush, and I am an annoying order’er with many changes. But they were patient and listened. I don’t know how to explain it, but you don’t get that kind of service often. Thank you guys!

Update: Recently changed from Poke LuLu to Sushi Freak. The food is still fresh but the lead server was off putting, she seemed to rush people and didn’t honor a military discount like every other sushi freak location. They are still using all of the Poke LuLu bowls and custom named items from the previous brand. I really liked this location before, disappointed and won’t be returning to this location.
Great lunch stop! My husband and I both got large bowls, my portions were a little smaller than his, but I think that is server dependent. Food was extremely fresh and all well stocked. The price is competitive to the other locations as well. Definitely enjoyed our visit and will be back.

I’ve been eating here for 5 years. I always get a poke bowl with spring mix, terriaki chicken, 2 servings of mango, avocado, seaweed salad, mandarin oranges, topped with tempura crunch and mango sauce.

Good food for takeout, but not a good place to sit down and enjoy a meal. My poké nachos came in a little disposable clamshell instead of the big bowl they serve it in at the uptown location. They also don’t have water cups (like at the uptown location). And the only seating is a few tables outside and some small, two-person booths inside, and the whole place feels sterile and drab. I’m sure this place is fine for carry out, but if you wanna sit down and relax for a bit, just go to the uptown location.

First time here and I was beyond satisfied. My custom made crunchy roll (minus avocado, sadly I’m allergic to) and side of shrimp tempura was the best I’ve ever had! Order shrimp tempura to-go. Definitely, will be returning. The staff were very friendly, helpful and working hard at all the online orders coming thru. Kudos to Sushi Freak and the staff we had during our visit.
