A very nice person in the food truck today. Food was prepared fast, I ordered the chicken shwarma bowl with a side of falafel. I also ordered an orange blossom lemonade. Both were quite good! Plenty of food in all, tons of salad green on top of rice and I couldn’t finish it. If anything i think it should be more chicken, less salad. The lemonade was fantastic and unique. The only bummer is the cost, so much $27+ and that hurt a bit. Parking is a bit tight on the corner. No tables to eat there. My buddy got a chicken shwarma pita with fries & harissa sauce, It was good. Located on the corner or Alameda & St. Francis across from the burger king.

Excited to try this place as I just moved into the neighborhood. Ordered online and walked over to pick up my order. Arrived when the order was expected to be ready. I was told maybe five more minutes. Fine. Twenty-five minutes AFTER THAT my falafel sandwich is finally ready. When I got home it was about 70% shredded lettuce and the “extra hummus” I paid $2.50 for was maybe a tbsp.

No thanks! I can make falafel from scratch at home in 30 minutes. Food trucks are supposed to be convenient. Lost a new loyal lunch customer.

Rolled up and ordered my food on-site. They were clearly pumping out orders, and yet mine didn’t take much time at all. It was delicious and fulfilling. Sadly they were already out of falafel for the day. Looking forward to trying more menu items.

What a gem! Friendly service, delicious food! I got the Plate with Shawarma chicken. Generous portion with hummus, salad, pita bread and delicious Saffron rice with delicately spiced shawarma chicken. Really, really good! Quick service too.

I’m obsessed! I just tried Yalla for the first time and holy cheese! My tummy and taste buds have never been happier. Between flavors and textures, am such a picky eater (AuDHD) and this place is definitely my new favorite! Everything was amazing! The chicken shawarma bowl, the falafel, loaded hummus plate, orange blossom lemonade and pineapple passion fruit organic thirst quenched were all DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to get hungry again so I can go back!

So good ! We loved our chicken shawarma, falafel and Houmous goodies. Next up to try : the desserts and drinks. For a food truck, this is super clean, classy food w good quality ingredients and presentation. Apparently the owners had a Moroccan restaurant here in SFe, but closed that and opened Yalla ! on St Francis. Sorry the restaurant didn’t work out but ever so happy you all stayed in Santa Fe ! Tajines Yalla ! next ?

I was excited to try this place, but was really disappointed. The falafel was extremely dry, the beef was incredibly chewy making it inedible, and there was barely any sauce on anything. We had to throw away 2 sandwiches. The taziki sauce was more like mustard. And it was very pricy for what you got. Spent almost $100 to feed my family and no one got fed.

$14 out the door for a falafel wrap is a bit high. Here are the issues I encountered. The wrap is grilled, which makes the veggies (inc lettuce) warm. Presumably the pita sandwich doesn’t have these issues, but it contains fewer serving ingredients. So you end up paying more for less tasty food. You also have to ask for additional tahini, which is offered at no extra cost, otherwise you don’t receive it. On the plus side if you sign up for text messages you get $5 off your next time and $5 on your birthday or birth month. That offsets the cost, otherwise I would not return.
