Big Buddha Sandwiches with tofu- These where delicious and tasted really fresh. Menu and selection process for sandwiches was simple, and packaging was thorough and made it easy to eat. Half a sandwich was enough for me, the other half was easy to pack and leftovers where great as well. My only critique that the sauce is a little too light–more sauce or dipping sauce would be a great addition. Overall a seriously great sandwich, would come once a week if I lived closer.

Spring rolls-One person the got a roll with grilled shrimp, another got Taiwanese sausage. The portions where perfectly sized with a great sauce-to-roll ratio. They described the rolls as fresh, flavourful, and with great texture. great. Each roll was individually wrapped so they did’t stick together, so make sure to take off the clear wrap before eating. Looked very pretty.

Service was great, and the eating area was so cute. The walls had paintings, there was a cool industrial ceiling, and the seating area was clean and accessible. Vibe was calm and not super crowded. They did a great job with the interior.

Had some delicious tasting healthier food, and was a good place to have a casual work lunch. Reasonably priced and lots of Asian fusion options. Their tea is made with fresh sugar cane. It’s a few spots in one and is similar to a food hall style – lots of seating and easy street parking. Friendly and quick service. Very yummy!!

Buddha Bowls and Rolls has a very simple and easy to understand menu. The good things are. The food and drinks are delicious, and the customer service is excellent.

The restaurant is not very big. It is for to-go orders only. The owner and employees are very nice. The food and drinks I ordered were ready in less than five minutes after I placed the order.

The metered street parking is easy to find in the area. I got the parking almost in front of the restaurant.

I recently moved to Sacramento, and on my first night here — surrounded by boxes and completely exhausted — I ordered delivery from Buddha Bowls and Rolls. I got the Street Tofu and a noodle bowl with vegan bulgogi, and honestly… it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Yes, I was starving, but it was so flavorful, fresh, and satisfying that I couldn’t believe how good it was.

The food is simple but done perfectly — every bite was packed with flavor and freshness. A few weeks later, I brought my sisters, their kids, and our parents to eat there in person, and they all loved it too. Definitely a family hit and one of my go-to spots now in Sacramento!

I love their innovative Asian fusion cuisine and drinks. The dishes are refreshingly delicious, with a perfect balance of Asian and Western flavors.

Our Matcha Strawberry drink and the blue drink (forgot its name) were good. The orange chicken rice bowl with added crispy roll (no filling inside btw. But texture is good) was delicious. The noodle bowl was decent but the rice bowl was better. For dessert, I enjoyed their Ube cookie and Pandan cookie, mango cookie was alright.

This place filled up with customers quickly at around weekday noon, just soon after I took these photos. If you’re short on time, consider ordering ahead for pickup. There’s no dine in option, only take out. We brought our food to a big park nearby and ate them there.

Definitely coming back for more

Delicious food! We got the tots and the smoky brisket bowl, so good! We are vendors at SacAnime a six minute walk away and it was less than a minute after I arrived that my food was ready. 5/5 stars.

The food was delicious. I had the rice with crispy tofu and a carrot, cabbage, garlic, sesame salad. My women person had vermicelli noodles with pork and peanut sauce and salad. We also shared some lumpia. The place looks small but there is an entire room with chairs and windows and a restroom. Very nice. Very clean. Did I mention the food was amazing. We will be back…

Third time here I’ve always gotten drinks. Decided to get a rice bowl. Paid $15 for chicken teriyaki, rice and a salad. I’m not sure why but for $15 I got a really small chicken thigh. One boneless chicken thigh that’s tiny is actually crazy. Taste is good but the portion is just terrible. 80% rice, 10% meat, 10% salad. I’ve met the owner and she’s a great person that’s why I decided to come support the business. I’m not sure if this is standard or the person who made my food didn’t like me or something. Not worth $15. I would’ve went to buckhorn next door. I didn’t expect this from a nice place like this.

I came on Monday around 3PM and was served immediately. This is a to-go restaurant so no table for dine in (only a bench for waiting the order). The staffs were very friendly and inviting. I got my order within 5 minutes.

– classic Vietnamese iced coffee: good iced coffee for a hot day. It had the perfect sweetness.
– char-grilled pork noodle bowl with spicy buddha sauce: delicious! The pork was tender and super flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly and they weren’t chunky when I ate it at home. The veggies were fresh and the Buddha sauce was great!
– coconut pandan cookie: yummy! The cookie wasn’t too sweet and the pandan flavor was prominent. Although it looked thin but it did have some chewiness in the middle and crispy edges!

Best Banh Mi I’ve had outside of Vietnam! The only difference with the Buddha Sando is they offer some aioli sauces options instead of the traditional pate, but honestly the aioli is a fantastic substitute.

This is the freshest, tastiest banh mi you’re going to find in Sac. Loaded with meat and veggies, it is great value for the price. The brisket was out of this world, I could have eaten it a la carte, but together with the fresh veggies on a roll it was superb. In this photo is the Chicken Banh mi which was also delicious but I highly recommend spending the extra $2 to try the brisket.

This will be a weekly staple in my lunch rotation! Only downside is they have no seating inside but perhaps they will add some seating outside eventually.
