We are a walk up bbq kitchen with tables for outside dining. We offer catering services with the option for drop off or buffet style set up with our team members serving your guests. We are not a Texas Style BBQ, although our food is smoked in wood fired bbq pits. We prefer to say we are doing a Pacific Northwest Style of bbq, using our local fruit woods to fuel our pits and creating meals outside of the traditional bbq box. Our menu changes regularly and the best way to see what we are doing is by following our Instagram or FaceBook pages. We post our menu the night before.

Everything was heavenly. Brisket was legit, pulled pork was above average, the baked beans were the best I’ve ever had. The staff are super friendly and passionate about the food and it shows. Highly recommended!

The first thing is the wonderful smell when you get out of your car. They smoke their own meat and it smells delicious. Unfortunately, after the smell, it wasn’t as great. Hubby and I got burnt ends hoagies and they tasted delicious but the meat was a little tough like it was not allowed to render long enough. There was no extra sauce offered, no pickles, or anything else but the burnt ends on bread with a little sauce. We got a side of scalloped potatoes which was also delicious, but it was a tiny serving for $2 extra. (It was more like a sample than a side.) (The menu seems to change day to day so something different is offered from time to time.) Plus we each got a can of soda pop. We paid $44 which seemed a little high for what we got. I would have given 3 1/2 stars but I didn’t want to be too stingy because I like to support locally owned businesses. The owner is really nice and there’s plenty of parking so I would definitely give this place a try.

The conversation went like this:
“ can I please get a brisket breakfast burrito. What comes on it ?”
Swampy: “ grilled onions, jalapeños, brisket, eggs, and cheese.”
Me: “ sounds good. I’ll take a large one no onions”
S: “ it’s already in there so we can’t take them out”me: “ Ok well, I’ll do a large burrito no onions and jalapeños “
S: “ we can’t do that. It’s already mixed together. Me: “ what I’m saying is just the brisket, eggs and cheese “
S: ITS ALREADY MIXED, we can’t do that”
Me: “……….? …….?”
S: the onions, jalapeños, and brisket is already mixed together. We can’t do that”
Me: “okay well can you do just dry brisket with eggs and cheese?”
S: “we can’t do that”
The part that was frustrating is that the gentleman upfront was so quick to argue about it instead of just tell me the information upfront.
Second to that it’s not that hard to put a piece of brisket with some eggs and cheese together but that’s not even the main issue
Person taking my order was WAY too quick to argue, but should be quick to offer customer service instead. I had a reasonable request of a small modification yet continue to put up an argument.
Been trying to go to this spot since before they had a brick-and-mortar location and never been a pleasant experience.

Wonderful customer service! The gentlemen at the front were very friendly. They thoroughly and completely answered all the questions we had while we selected from the day’s menu. Will definitely be back and will be recommending Swampy’s to my friends!

So this morning my brother & I felt like getting biscuits and gravy and he suggested we go to Swampys. Now Im going to admit I had only seen Swampys by just driving by and seeing the two huge smokers by the building. I never had thought they would have biscuits and gravy but he said we had to go. So off we went. I let him do the ordering since I hadnt been. We both got a large order of biscuits (2 biscuits) and gravy. This gravy was perfectly seasoned with spices and smoke. The bacon and sausage was the perfect amount, it was absolutely perfect. Now normally when you get biscuits and gravy a place will just cover the biscuit with gravy, Swampys cut the biscuit open, put a little gravy on it, then closed it and covered it with more gravy… I mean, really could you ask for anything better than that.. The biscuits were baked perfectly. If anyone asks me for a place that has good biscuits and gravy, im definitely recommending Swampys and I definitely will be going back myself and bringing whoever wants to join me…. Thank you for delicious Saturday morning meal

I ordered the 16 oz trough after they told me it was a bbq sundae. That description basically says it all. The layers of slaw, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and baked beans were just amazing!

The BEST in Tri-cities!!!! We had a family luncheon for a wedding. The bride and groom wanted pulled pork sandwiches. As mother of the bride, I’ll be honest and say that I hate pulled pork sandwiches. It became a mission to find the best pulled pork sandwich in Tri-cities. We went to 5 different locations. Swampy’s beat them all!!
The other locations had the typical crockpot, slow cooked, shredded, soggy, mushy, tasteless type of pulled pork sandwiches that can’t even be stomached without drenching it in bbq sauce and coleslaw.
Swampy’s version has so much flavor since they smoke it. You can see the smoke layers. It can stand alone without bbq sauce or coleslaw. It was tender without being mushy, juicy but not soggy.
We also enjoyed the brisket and mac&cheese!
Tory was great with customer service for catering. He even ordered gluten free sliders for us. We got to meet the owner, Ron, when we paid for the catering. It was great talking with him and hearing his amazing story of how he got started. Thank you Tory and Ron and the rest of the staff for the incredible food! All of our guests loved every bite!

Received gift cards back in March, but my schedule never seemed to line up with their hours. Was worth the wait! Everything was so delicious! Ron, the owner, came out to chat me. Very personable fellow, and recommended to pecan bread pudding. Thanks for the bread pudding Ron! I got the burnt end hoagie. It was amazing. I can’t wait to go back next week to see what else is on the menu.
