Absolutely a hidden gem! The meat is juicy and flavorful. Really hit the spot. It’s hard to believe we have authentic Mexican cuisine in east queens. But this place hits. We will definitely come back

This establishment prioritizes authenticity over fancy presentation. It is a charming mom and pop restaurant that offers both delicious food and great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience there. Although the beef dish lacked a bit of flavor and was not as juicy as we had hoped, it was still enjoyable. On the other hand, the clay pot coffee was absolutely delightful. We are definitely planning to return in the future.

We ordered to go and got delicious, authentic cemita, tamales and quesadilla (made with corn) along with very refreshing jimaca and tamarindo drinks they made in house.

This place is delicious. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Great to eat as leftovers the next day too. We ordered the tacos dorados de pollo dish, the enchiladas suizas, tacos de carne a la parrilla (comes with 3), and esquites de elote (street corn).

First time here and from other reviews, it was indeed an authentic spot for tacos, rice plates and tortas. We tried a little off everything and did take out but I ordered in person. Next time I’ll dine in to get the full experience. That said, the mom and pop run store is so cozy and nice. They mentioned 20-25 minutes wait but served us chips and dip while we waited and water, as if I was dining in. So hospitable and friendly.

I’ve never been to Mexico but coming here always makes me feel like I’ve been to Mexico and eaten REAL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD EVERY TIME.
Every bite of food is packed with flavor and you can tell was prepared and served with love. From the black bean base and incredible flavors from the CHICKEN HUARACHE to the incredibly soft yet amazing flavors of EVERY AUTHENTIC TACO,
I would definitely recommend for people who want real Mexican food and not Mexican American food.
Service is excellent with chips and guacamole sauce served before every meal. The sauces with the huaraches, either mild or spicy bring out even more flavor to every bite. The double tortilla freshly made corn tacos or just given so much love. You have to try them!

The people here and ambiance even make me feel like wanting to go Mexico because they are all warm, inviting and respectful.
The ambiance and decor scream warm Mexican feel. It could be a bit more modern but over time I would believe they will improve.
OH and the prices are really affordable and not stressful to enjoy your food at all. 100% worth it.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The smiles of the staff and owner set the tone for what would be a great dining experience. The music, which I felt in my soul, added to the experience.
Drinks were brought to the table, followed by elotes, Mexican street corn, and freshly prepared guacamole with warm chrispy tortillas chips.
Soon after, the entrees of shrimp quesadillas and enchiladas were placed on the table, and the experience commenced. The food was plated beautifully, warm, and perfectly spiced.
It is most definitely worth a visit. Muchisima gracias!
