Let me start off by making sure everyone knows the kids eat free on the website is not accurate. We hadn’t been to noodles and company before and decided to try to with two of our kids. When we looked at the website it said kids eat free everyday. This location said that they don’t do that. We placed our order and waited. There were a lot of people waiting for food, many that had been there longer than us. While we were sitting there waiting I heard them call my food was ready but it was about 5-8 minutes before it came out. One of our daughters got the buttered parmesean noodles and the other got spaghetti and meatballs. My husband got pork BBQ Mac and cheese. Our daughter said the spaghetti was a little spicy. My noodles were not fully cooked and were a bit chewy. There was a gentleman operating the grill that had shoulder length curly hair that was not pulled back. We were not overly impressed with our experience and probably won’t go back often.

I was excited to see a noodle shop while I was visiting the Des Moines Iowa area. I expected a Chinese noodle shop but it was not it was a variety of noodle pasta dishes very reasonably priced and actually very very tasty. I will look forward to trying something different next time this time I got the parmesan chicken and the chicken part was especially delicious

The food is always good, but the staff is extremely lacking, there are very few people who work this location that are motivated to work. The taller kid with the dark curly hair is always in a mood that speaks that to we are interrupting him, drags his feet, takes his time, talks quiet, his tone sucks.
Service at this location is just sucks, orders always take forever, don’t bother expecting to be in and out with ordering ahead…ever

Came here for the 1st time & the food was delicious!The young lady who took our order was helpful and polite.Good first impression for sure!Will return again soon I noticed there were reviews about portion sizes and I have never had that issue.We love this location!Thank you guys.

Not a very good first impression when you first walk into a restaurant and there’s 10+ people waiting for their food and no one in the whole lobby had food. Not to mention the place was filthy. The workers didn’t seem like they were in a hurry to make our food either. Food took a little over 30 minutes from the time we ordered.
Ordered the Steak Stroganoff and the Med Salad and two drinks, and it came to $32. Thought that seemed pricey for what we actually got. Didn’t have very much steak. And the salad was missing the cavatappi.
I certainly won’t come back to this location
and would recommend others stay away as well. Pretty sad too, as I was genuinely excited that a Noodles and Company opened in Waukee.

None of the workers seem to care that you’re there. We went twice, once was dine in, they didn’t talk to us and took a long time prepping our food and then all the tables were dirty. The second time was a pick up and my husband waited an hour for our food when it said the order was ready. It was not! Will not go to this location again. Merle hay noodles is so much better at timeliness and customer service

I will GLADLY change this review if portion sizes improve. I bought a large and the bowl was halfway filled. Make it heaping! Don’t go cheap on us. Food tastes great though and thrilled to have you close to home.

Smells are amazing, there was chicken in my food and I got upset and then an employee named Jackie came and asked what was wrong and I told her and then she made me a whole new dish of the same pasta, but without the chicken and it tasted really good and I also got to have a conversation with another employee, and everyone was so nice and so kind and asked what we did for fun and everything and we had a lot of fun here and it smells absolutely amazing and tastes amazing

Place wasn’t busy but it still took a long time before we could order and took over 30 minutes to get the food. There was only 4 other people in the lobby but they also had no food. When they got their food, they asked for to go boxes. It seemed like they spent a lot of time on online/dooedash orders.
