Patrick greeted me by name when I picked up my online order. I had the chili shrimp with yams and collard greens. For dessert I got the henny cake. I don’t regret a single calorie. #repeatcustomer #blackowner

I frequent the restaurant just about every other day since October 2019. I tried the majority of the menu and have not been disappointed yet. The food portions are great!! Food is well seasoned. Staff is very friendly. A welcomed gourmet eating establishment to the sleepy town.
Get your jumbo lump crab cakes and amazingly jumbo shrimp here!! Yes you pay restaurant prices but the quality is super! Check out the pics.

I enjoyed my meal, but I didn’t enjoy the staff not saying anything to young lady they were having conversations with to take her ft conversations outside if she chooses to curse so loud at the counter. No one wants to hear all.

A friend of mine came to work one day with some food from High Noon. The food looked and smelled so goood! I asked here where did she get it. She shared the information with me, and I told her that one day I was going to go there, even though it was over 30 miles away from where I live. So finally, my son and I took the trip. It was well worth the trip. I don’t even like eating things that are sweet at all. The nice young lady behind the counter gave me a sample of the bread pudding. I then accidentally said a curse word because it was so good! I took five orders of that bread pudding home and my son and I ate it like there was no tomorrow. We ordered several of their plates and a seafood platter. Everything was excellent! I haven’t had food like that in a very long time. If you want some really good Southern Fine Cuisine & Seafood, I highly recommend this place. Anyone who would say that the food is not good, obviously does not know what good food is. Make the trip! It is well worth it!

The food was decent. I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo with macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and bread pudding. The bread pudding was absolutely delicious. The catfish and shrimp were pretty good as well. The macaroni and cheese had a good flavor but not enough cheese. The collard greens had a lot of stem in which made them a little bitter. Over all the food was good. Will visit again and order different sides and the bread pudding!!!!

My order was absolutely horrible. I tried to call back for resolution or a refund, but they were closed. I ordered crab stuffed salmon with candied yams, cabbage & an order of sweet chili bang shrimp with a side of Mac & cheese.
The salmon was overly smothered with old bay & literally had a tablespoon of crab meat on top ( NOT STUFFED). The yams were stringy, almost to the point that they weren’t even edible. The shrimp was just fried with a DRIZZLE of sweet chili sauce. There was not nearly enough sauce on this to call it anything besides fried shrimp. The Mac& cheese literally had no cheese! The noodles were bare! The rest of the food was so bad & ill prepared that I didn’t even bother to touch the cabbage. This was a complete disappointment. The only thing that was decent was the crab which once again I got one spoon of. Please revise your menu, prep & cooking because this is not acceptable & its borderline false advertisement.
Edit:
After reading my review Mr. Mckinnis contacted me directly & apologized. He refunded my money for the meal & remade the meal to change what was previously listed as an issue. Even though my meal was not initially what was expected, his customer service & service recovery is great. The shrimp, amount of crab & salmon were definitely improved. I may return just for the crab cakes. Thank you

This restaurant is hit or miss for me. initially I came because we live right down the street and there are no other soul food options in the area. I loved their shrimp first time I got the shrimp it was amazing and I went back the next day. A couple of weeks later my husband and I go because he also gets his hair cut next door and our food is so oily that we did not finish it. 2 weeks ago we wanted some soul food so I went in to get some shrimp and collard greens the collard greens pretty much disintegrated on my fork and the shrimp was somehow stale but deep fried and tasted like rubber, so needless to say that was a waste of money yet again. I decided to try again just for green beans a couple of days later and they were great I went back today for two orders of green beans and they don’t even taste the same as last week the green beans are so oily that I now have a headache I’m not sure what the food is cooked in but this is craziness and unfortunately we will not be back.

GREAT (black-owned) soul food spot in Southern Maryland! We ordered the seafood combo, the Baltimore, and jerk chicken dinners. Everything was seasoned well and tasted as expected! The sweet potato bread pudding, was EVERYTHING!! Can’t wait to visit again!

I went here for the first time last week and it was AMAZING. I’m from the country in NC and have lived all over including New Orleans so I tend to think I know about good southern/country food and this place blew me away. I got Granny’s stewed chicken and the sweet potato bread pudding and I’ll be back for more very soon. It was a little more expensive than I was expecting for lunch in Bryan’s Road, but the portions for the entrees and the taste definitely made it worth it and the staff were just as nice as they could be and got me my plate as soon as I walked in. 5 stars all around!
