Finally a restaurant in Pittsburgh with REAL Peruvian food! It was so delicious . Peruvian flavors on point. All food was hot and served quickly. We had lomo saltado, ceviche with crispy calamari, and their breaded chicken breast and replaced the white rice with chaufa which is their version of fried rice. It was soooo good! We will definitely come back .

This is a hidden gem. Looks like a small family run establishment, thus the experience seems more authentic. We ordered Salchipappas & Choros a la Chalaca for appetizers. Definitely recommend their Chica Morada drink which is not on the menu. It was fantastic. The Choros a la Chalaca was the star of the night. Sausage on Salchipappas was good, but the fries were bit soggy & lacked seasoning. For dinner, kids shared Milanese De Pollo which they both loved. The sauces served with it were awesome. I ordered Arroz con Mariscos which was awesome. My wife ordered Tiradito Tres Sabores which was great as well. The food quantity is huge so none of us finished our portions. I would highly recommend sharing entrees. I would suggest the owner to consider reducing the portion size. We would be definitely back here to try rest of the things on the menu.

We had been searching for a good Peruvian restaurant in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area for a long time, but most places just don’t feel authentic, and some don’t even serve ceviche.
This place is AMAZING! Everything is homemade and delicious!
You can really taste the love they put into the food. The ceviche is absolutely DELICIOUS, and the chicken causa is excellent too (I hope they add a shrimp version in the future !). The seafood jalea is also fantastic. The ceviche sauce alone is a delight . (the yuca, for example, you can tell that is freshly cut and fried in-house, I mention the yuca specifically because normally restaurants take shortcuts with things like soups, sauces, fries or yuca, using pre-packaged or bagged versions to make things easier.)
They even have a spicy pink sauce that go perfectly with the fried yuca we ordered on the side, which were super tasty as well. Highly recommend! And we will be back for sure!!!

I went to this restaurant today for the first time, and I have to say, we’re incredibly lucky to have them here. The food was absolutely top-notch—so flavorful and generous. I ordered the seafood rice, and it was brimming with shrimp, mussels, octopus, calamari, scallops, and more. They definitely don’t skimp on the good stuff!
The portions were huge, the quality was excellent, and the whole experience was just delightful. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home and excited to come back. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out and support this wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

Amazing flavors and some impressive presentations of dishes. BYOB. Cute little place with lovely wall murals, but lighting seems a bit bright and fluorescent.

Ask for the Chica Morada drink (they don’t have a drink menu right now, but this is available). Its non-alcoholic and tastes like a tropical christmas punch!
The food was great. They gave huge portions. I had the three ceviche dish and the fish and sauce were delicious. We also had the potato appetizer and the dish tasted almost french. Oh, and they gave us fried corn kernels as a complimentary appetizer (think nuts at a bar). This is a hidden gem. I don’t think we could get food like this anywhere else in Pittsburgh.

I’ve been here three times now and ordered three different items. Everything was absolutely delicious! I lived and studied in Peru and the food reminds me of living in Lima again. Great restaurant!

I had the pleasure of dining at Ceviche’s Peruvian Cuisine, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Their leche de tigre was exceptional—almost exactly like the one my father used to make years ago, which brought back wonderful memories. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, a true testament to authentic Peruvian cooking.
The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both culinary excellence and exceptional hospitality, and Ceviche’s does it effortlessly.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Peruvian flavors and top-notch service.
