The appetizers were really good, we had tuna tataki and that was absolutely amazing! We also ordered the Duck Gyoza, my husband and daughter liked it very much, it wasn’t my taste and that is fine. My daughter had the Miso soup and it was by far the best one we had ever tasted.
But the sushi rolls looked a mess and there was so much sauce and stuff on it that you do not even taste the fish anymore. We had the Sexy sexy Salmon and the Happy Dragon. Our daughter had the Everything is possible roll and she enjoyed that on very much and as you can see in the pictures, hers looked so much cleaner and less saucy. We like sushi because of the fresh fish, but I couldn’t even taste the fish the let you know if it was fresh or not.

This is the 2nd time I come. The food is great! Both times I came the atmosphere was smooth. Only down side is the car and scooter noises passing by down below. Apart from that it’s an awesome place with good menu choices

Very disappointing despite all the good comments we had seen and heard. We were just the two of us. Food was good while not exceptional but poor service was just unheard of. We made a reservation requesting an omakase on Open Table but they said they did not read the request. We waited 45 mns to place a food order and waited one hour. After waiting 1 hour, the waitress came back saying she had forgotten to place our order and would try to rush it with the kitchen. We waited another 1 hour and 15 mns to get our food while everyone else was being served. We arrived at 8:30 pm and got our food at 11pm. Too bad. After we left, our Open Table reservation was cancelled so that we could not post a comment…?

Very disappointing experience. The service was slow, staff seemed uninterested in helping, and the overall atmosphere felt disorganized. It took far longer than expected to get attention, and when we did, communication was rushed and unfriendly.
For the price and reputation, I expected much better professionalism and customer care. Unfortunately, this was not a place that made me feel valued as a customer, and I would not choose to return.

It leaves much to be desired. 5 rolls, 2 regular ones that looked like complimentary sushi and 3 special ones… none of them tasted like anything… it was like unsalted rice, and it was 110 per person.
In response to the owners’ comment, yes, we ordered five different dishes to try, and all five were bland. The bill came to 190 plus a 15% tip, which we obviously didn’t leave because, while the waitress was very helpful, the food wasn’t just bad, it was tasteless, completely bland! It’s appalling that they have the nerve to respond like that for a tip that isn’t even mandatory in this country.

Alina exceeded our expectations for both service and food presentation. Everything was amazing, and our server, Wally (I believe that was his name) was very helpful and went over the specials. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this experience.
