I can’t speak highly enough about Twisted Croissant. I am visiting town and this is by far some of the best food I have encountered so far. Some of the seasonal items, especially the char sui croissant, were amazing. I also loved the lemon and poppyseed pull apart croissant. The prices might seem a little high but you’re paying for exceptional quality. The staff who helped us was so patient and kind. Highly recommend if you’re in the area to stop by.

Twisted has fabulous pastries, which is not a secret. However, today was the first time I came into the cafe and stayed for a coffee and a bite to eat, rather than just ordering goodies for takeout. The space is lovely and gets wonderful morning light even when its grey and rainy. The coffee was delicious, the staff are friendly, and the baked goods are dependably delicious.

I was really excited about their pastries, we drove almost 1hr to get there. The place is clean with a minimalist decor. Good variety of aesthetically pleasing pastries. However, I was disappointed by the flavor profile of the items we tried – the chocolate croissant was flaky and crispy but seemed to lack moisture and depth of flavor, and the rosemary ham and cheese croissant was only saved by the rosemary flavor itself. I looooove this place. I get coffee before work every day, and it’s my favorite part of my routine! It’s the only shop that will truly meet my request for “make a drink that you think is too sweet and then make it sweeter.” Every staff member nails it every time!
The pastries are incredible as well, super soft and flaky. The blueberry lemon pull apart and the quiche are personal favorites of mine but you truly cannot go wrong.

Go there and eat things! I went in near closing time on a weekday and they only had a few things left. So I ended up with something I may not have picked if there were more options… but omg it was amazing!!! Idk what it’s called, but it was a spice flavored, dense cake with pear puree and I think a maple flavored frosting. I don’t see it on the online menu.
The lady working was so nice and friendly. The atmosphere was bright, clean, and comfortable. She warned me that sometimes they sell a whole days inventory in the first few hours of the day and it’s unpredictable. I’ve been to another location before and tried 5 things (shared so we could all try everything). No matter what you like/ don’t like they have something for you and it’s ALL DELICIOUS!

I finally visited this place yesterday with my friend who lives in the neighborhood. We went in a little before noon and there were a few people already, but were able to get a table. The employee with a red beanie and a mask was friendly, polite, and made us feel welcomed. I got a chocolate croissant ($7.50) and a marionberry & creamcheese croissant ($7.50). They were both as crispy as I expected. The employee warmed up the croissant which was nice. Some place don’t do that unless you ask. I wish they had bigger plates. Small plates are not practical.

I found this place during a Westmoreland urban walk……and what a great find!!!!!
Located along Bybee Blvd. ,close the intersection of Milwaukie Ave. ,this location was conveniently situated about halfway into my neighborhood ramble.
The great heady smell of ” butta” is the first smell that greets you as you enter Twisted. A positive indicator if you’re looking for croissants .
The pastry selections were plentiful, and all looked delicious . Limiting decisions obviously would be difficult .
I selected a marcona almond croissant and an apple cranberry croissant , although my eyes wanted 1 of EVERYTHING.
Both were buttery and flavorful. Different. Not ordinary and loaded with filling. Coffee and tea were decent, but the pastry was definitely the highlight here.
Handicap ♿️ very doable.
Service efficient and friendly.
It’s not inexpensive but definitely value for money spent.
Atmosphere is functionally stark and minimalist
