This place is very good, we were looking for something authentic to eat with the family and this one was the one. We ordered menudo, zopes, tacos, quesadillas and the homemade horchata and the handmade tortillas were the best! The service was friendly, I would definitely recommend this place!!

I had a al pastor burrito supreme. It was decent, but not like, whoa, this is so great. I will come by to try the tacos guisados and the volcanes. Atmosphere is clean and plenty of room. Customer service is great.

Sunday 3/16 update:
Tried the menudo. NOT good. AT ALL.
As soon as she put it on the table I could smell it was not cleaned right. If you know about mex food, the menudo should be cleaned properly. The taste was terrible.
I think they need to clean it better.
Homemade tortillas were good as usual though!
Opening day:
Had the enchiladas michoacanos plate. They were authentic just like Mexico. 5 enchiladas filled with queso fresco (hold the onions) with lettuce and queso on top. Potato cubes cooked in the enchilada sauce, and a delicious side piece of chicken with pickled carrots on top of the plate. (not spicy at all. They were the perfect garnish)
The fresh squeezed orange juice was so tasty and naturally sweet. I got a cup to go home as well
The chips came out hot and fresh, their salsa was not spicy at all. It was perfect.
Service was great. Really nice people.
Only bad thing was, visited at 8 pm and the small lobby was so cold. I think a little heater in there can fix that. I would have liked to eat my dinner and be warm.
Overall this was a very great experience and I recommend anyone to go try their food. They did not disappoint.
I will go back sooner than later.

When it gets warmer it’s gonna be nice to eat outside on the patio.
They also have music playing outside!

First visits had their enchiladas con pollo and let me tell you it was a lot of food they give you the enchiladas were so delicious. And our most recent visit I had their sope with shredded beef so good it’s like eating at you grandma’s house. Also, had chorizo tacos and the corn tortillas is hand made. It’s a small dining area they also have a patio outside great customer service. Definitely will be going back.

We had a great experience at Taqueria Con Sabor a México! The sopes were fantastic, and the carne asada burritos were flavorful and well-prepared. We also tried the carne asada gorditas—although they were on the smaller side, they were still delicious. Everything we ordered was tasty and well-made. The only downside is that they use plastic silverware, which takes away from the experience a bit. Other than that, it’s definitely a great spot for authentic Mexican food in Merced!

We ordered for Dine-in and we were served fresh chips and salsa. The price was great for Chilaquiles and eggs. The sauce was thick and flavorful, a bit on the spicy side but that’s how it is supposed to be:). Staff and service were great. The “agua de jamaica” was house made and refreshing. I’m so impressed with the food here—I had to write a review! This is a family-owned gem, and everything is authentic and homemade, down to the beautifully crafted plates they serve on. The flavors were amazing, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. They even brought out free chips and salsa, which were clearly homemade and incredibly fresh.
