I order take out from here mostly. I think they give a lot of food for a fair price and their ingredients seem to be really fresh. I found a toothpick in my steak/shrimp plate. I pulled it out and threw it away. I’m sure one dropped in because they have toothpicks by the line to hand out samples. I continued to eat my food till I felt something strange in my mouth. Apparently a piece of cardboard fell in my food too. It sucks this happened because I love the flavor of their food. I don’t if I’ll be ordering from here as much

I’ve become a weekend regular here, the flavors are amazing and I haven’t had a bad meal during any of my visits thusfar, the quality control delivers a consistent product that slams your palate with flavor. Definitely try this place over the panda express next to it.

This is my favorite restaurant by far. Don’t let it being in a mall food court fool you, the fried rice is perfect, the meat is perfect, and one $14 order can easily be split into two meals. The customer service is also phenomenal. Even if I’m having a horrible day, the woman who usually works the front always makes me smile.

The Asheville Mall food court had Panda Express and Teriyaki Japan right next to each other. I was heavily considering Panda Express until I saw the prices at Teriyaki Japan, which were a little lower. My boyfriend and I each got the chicken teriyaki special with noodles and a spring roll, and we both also shared a drink which came out to around $22. There was a LOT of food! We were very satisfied with the portions and had to take one of them home. The food itself tasted good. There are sauces that you can get to make it more flavorful if you wish. Service was quick and friendly!

Can be pricey, but hands down is the best teriyaki chicken in Asheville. Far better than ichiban asaka and yoshida’s Express. The lo mein noodles we’re perfectly hydrated and the chicken is cut in a way for maximum flavor. The teriyaki sauce is the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know why this place is under 5 stars but I’m not going to lie this is the best food on the planet. I’m never disappointed. My only gripe would be that you have to pay extra for white sauce and it could be a little cheaper but the food taste and quality blows everything else out of the water. A++. If you want the best Japanese you have ever had. eat here

Normally when I go here the food is pretty good, but recently when I’ve gone my experience has been terrible. Rice is clearly old, tastes dry. Soy Sauce does not help. Boba tea is good(hard to mess that up), Egg rolls were good. Just expensive. Lady at register is nice, cook is rude most of the time. Overall, this store is just eh, it’s hit or miss. Just don’t order through doordash.
