Been coming here for close to 40 years – delicious food and their hash browns are my hash brown standard! Great service, great food – so fresh and full of taste. Lots of menu options are prices really well, 10/10 recommend!!

Again outta town at a hotel in mill valley and looking for a place to enjoy breakfast before 0800 hrs. Interestingly, 3 of the 4 places I looked at weren’t open until 0900 hrs or later… really choose the Mill Valley Coffee Shop because they were the only option open early. Easy to find, lot’s of parking, nice corner location and friendly, also former Navy locals enjoying breakfast when I arrived. This is a owner/operator business and the food was exceptional. Ordered up eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and sour dough toast, along w/coffee. Everything was fresh, cooked to order and a very clean shop managed/owned by a very friendly lady. If you live in or around Mill Valley, I’m jealous because I’d be found here every morning, early!

I am 75 y.o. & have traveled on 4 continents. Mill Valley Coffee is my favorite breakfast place on planet Earth. I live in NY but fly to CA regularly, & I never fail to come here every day I can manage. Owner Lorraine’s subtle & gently humorous charm as well as flawless customer care, & Chef Philip’s astonishingly perfect cooking, have me eating & lingering for more than an hour every time. Their eggs Benedict Florentine (with my idiosyncratic but customary side of their exquisite chorizo) is my favorite dish at this, my favorite place

I love supporting the little guy, but this place was just okay. Service was definitely not overly friendly. Food and coffee were just okay. Very overpriced. ~22$ + tip for a small breakfast burrito some bagged home fries and a coffee. Average….

This is a diner while not ugly or anything disappointing for the town’s legacy, has a bad habit of being overpriced too often. Nearly $10 per item.

Great coffee, the fluffiest, most delicious scrambled eggs I’ve ever had, overall just a really good, satisfying meal, and good service

The name of this coffee shop is very misleading. We went there for coffee and there was minimal selection and it didn’t taste great. The service was also subpar.

Ordered Pancakes, eggs + bacon, pesto chicken scramble. Staff was nice enough, but Food quality was abysmal. Shells in the eggs, Pancakes were spongy with baking soda and onion flavor. Bacon was inconsistent both under and over cooked – Leathery and tough. The pesto chicken omelette was inedible. Everything in that omelette had a rancid taste to it, which I’m having a difficult time getting out of my mouth. Charged far too much for small portions of terrible quality food, and to top it all off there are no public restrooms. Unacceptable for any cafe, especially with those prices, to serve that food with a straight face. Absolutely the worst breakfast I’ve had in years, and will never be returning. To the owners: good luck keeping the doors open, and the other reviews must be from an alternate dimension, because that’s not what my recent experience was at all.
