There is a large parking lot so no stress circling for a spot. Ordering is simple and if you choose take away they hand you a buzzer so you can relax instead of hovering around the counter. The staff were friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience smooth.
Prices are definitely country club level but the portions and flavors help justify it. I ordered the Buttah Shrimp Roll for $13 and made it a combo with waffle fries for an extra $4. The shrimp was flavorful and rich with that garlic butter style sauce that makes you slow down and enjoy each bite. The waffle fries were crispy and a solid add on that made it feel like a complete meal. Bun, fries and shrimp were all lukewarm.
Overall Jolene’s by the Bay is a relaxed easy stop whether you are golfing or just hungry. Friendly staff plenty of parking and good food in a laid back setting make it a spot worth checking out.

Ordering online and picking up was quick and easy. My order was ready in 15 minutes, right by the time I parked and walked to the restaurant. It was a coincidence that the staff member called my name just as I arrived to pick up the food.
My family ordered the Buttah Burger with onion rings, a Buttah Burger with a side salad, the Papa Smokes Burger with waffle fries, and I got the Buttah Lobster Roll with waffle fries. Overall, we all enjoyed our food.
• The side salad was a pleasant surprise; it was more like the pickled vegetables you’d find in a bánh mì sandwich.
• The onion rings were a disappointment—soggy and full of batter, not worth ordering again.
• The Papa Smokes Burger was huge! I was told the brisket combination with the double burger was delicious. It was so good, in fact, that my father said he didn’t need dinner that night.
• My Lobster Roll was good but a letdown. It wasn’t what I remembered. The lobster meat seemed blended and mixed into mayo, served over a bánh mì-style bread. While I liked the flavor, I wouldn’t order it again.
• We all unanimously enjoyed the waffle fries. They were really crispy, and the Cajun seasoning elevated them perfectly.
All in all, I would go back. I want to try their other menu items. I’m definitely glad they opened this convenient location at Bayview Golf Course.
Went with the lobster fries this time instead of my usually of the lobster roll. It was delicious.
I usually stop here at least once a month.
Our wonderful server gave us some great recommendations. We tried her suggestions, and my family members were quite satisfied. The portions were huge. However, my modified meal was a five out of ten in taste for me. I appreciate the accommodation, but my shrimp was overcooked. Everything else was great, though. It’s a perfect setting for family events.

Jolene’s by the Bay in Kaneohe is a revelation. The view alone, overlooking a tranquil landscape, is worth the visit. Thankfully, the food is just as breathtaking. Their Birria melt is a stroke of genius, a delightful twist on a classic. And the consommé? It’s dynamite! Forget lackluster—it packs a powerful, welcome spicy punch. It was a standout. Jolene’s delivers a truly exceptional dining experience.
The bad: The kitchen needs to toast the buns on the burgers and pulled pork because the pickled veggies make the bun soggy. Half our waffle fries were perfection and the other half were over cooked way too much.
The ugly: The pulled pork was excessively fatty. If you eat outside the food is good and the flies know it, so prepare for their arrival. There was literally not a single fly until our food hit the table, then they came to join us for lunch.
