Was good and fresh so doesn’t stop me from ordering again. The chicken also didn’t taste like dirty oil this chicken was fresh. The salad was awesome just to much of a vinegar taste. However the salad to meat ratio was perfect. Food was prepared fast and since my order was close to closing the quality of the food was better than I expected. No one in this area put the olives pickles and corn extra in their salad so this place stands out for that. This place raised my standards for halal in mt Vernon. Definitely give it a try

I sat in my car outside devouring this plate, i wanted to save a quarter of the plate to enjoy later. I drove for 5 minutes, pulled over and finished it, i couldn’t wait! This is definitely top tier Halal Food in Westchester County! The lamb over rice is DELICIOUS & fresh! I’m definitely coming back!

Mix feelings from food quality. Had lamb & chicken over rice and lamb gyro. Overall food is okay especially wonderful fries same like five guys seasoning but poor quality Lamb must from frozon and does not look like meat.

Supporting family restaurants within the community has been a goal of mine recently , I have to say the food at Naq’s was very good. I ordered chicken over rice, the rice was delicious and very flavorful. I love cardamom and the rice had just the right hint of of. The mixed gyro was also very tasty. Pricing is adequate for the amount of food that you get.

I took the platter with chicken over rice with fries and with that 2 tenders and everything is so good !!
The first time I took the same platter but with some nuggets and I wanted to try so bad the tenders.
The food is so flavorful, the chicken is perfect, the rice is perfect, the fries ? Perfect !!
It really is so good, I will definitely keep coming.
The staff also is so kind and nice.

Its our second time going to Naqs. The flavor of the food is there but the portions are really small compared to the prices. Here you can see the combo over rice platter. Not a lot of food. Asked for their new zinger but their menu isnt ready yet so it was a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Very much like something you can get at a crown fried just with a better brioche bun. And the extra white sauce container was only half filled. 🙁

The service was excellent, I tried their chicken sandwich, which was pretty good. I also ordered some corn nuggets, which were delicious—I could eat them all day long! Their chicken gyro is so good, highly recommended.

I ordered 2 mix over rice. No white sauce on it. No spoon or fork. It’s a common sense to put a spoon or fork. Ask extra hot sauce on the side I didn’t get it.

Service is hit or miss but this is the best chicken/lamb/rice around by a longshot. Google says this place is still closed but it’s not….they are randomly closed or open on random weekdays. Best to order there if you order for pickup it won’t be there when you arrive. Sometimes they answer the phone sometimes they don’t. But the food speaks for itself!!!
