I usually take pictures of the food before I eat it for reviews. However this food smelt and looked so good I couldn’t help but digging in. This isn’t a want to come back I HAVE to come back. I think the only thing I would note is that I accidentally got served the wrong cake to go. But I know I will be dreaming of this sandwich tonight it was so good!

The staff are very friendly and the food there is amazing. I ordered their grilled pork banh mi sandwich, and it is delicious. I highly recommend coming to this place as they also serve pho as well.

Visited on August 20th to try their new item (Korean Spicy Noodles – Mì Cay). It was overall terrible!
Reason: The way they made it was wrong by putting the wrong ingredients in it. For instance, they put char-siu (which was a type of meat they used for banh mi), ground pork (mainly used for Phnong Penh’s Noodles – or Hu Tieu Nam Vang), bean sprouts, white onions and cilantro. For your information, the real Spicy Noodles – Mì Cay doesn’t have ingredients that I listed above. About the taste, it was the same as the seasoning pack from the instant noodles (from my experiences, they probably got it from the instant noodles’ name – Siu Kay).
With all the reasons above, I feel very disappointed in the way they introduced Korean Spicy Noodles – Mì Cay – dishes. It shows that they just want to make money from the new, “catchy” item, but did not care if it was right or wrong. Especially for those who have tried these dishes before, they will feel the same way that I feel.
– About their service, the staff was great with a polite gesture. However, the server and the kitchen staff need to do better when customer have to wait for their food. My table waited 20 minutes for the two Korean Spicy Noodles and 30 minutes for the Shaken Beef Rice Plate. Otherwise, the restroom needs to be clean as well.
– Another important thing that I want to complain about is their tipping. Watch out for the percentage that they put. Our table was about $57, and the 10% tip option was $10 something on the screen. Please be sure to calculate yourself before tipping.
Overall, I rated 1 star because of their new dishes, plus the unpleasant experience with the service today. I hope they can do better so new customers will have a chance to try the “right” new dishes that you guys offer.
(Below are pictures from my table and the picture of the instant noodles package I mentioned.)

– First of all, my friend and I, who were there to try your new dish, are both Vietnamese. Moreover, everybody’s tastes are different, so I was not saying that the dish doesn’t taste good to me, so it does the same way for all Vietnamese people. However, we (as a person who has experienced tasting the right Korean Spicy Noodles – mì cay) did not have a good experience with the way you guys make it. Otherwise, you said you brought Korean ingredients to make this dish. Let me ask you (or someone who knows about this – mì cay – dishes), are char-siu, ground pork, cilantro, and white onion supposed to be in those dishes? No! And even in Korea, they do not put those ingredients (or even in Vietnam, where this dish is selling everywhere throughout the country). My review is based on the legit experiences that my friend and I had about the new dish – Korean Spicy Noodles – that you guys offered. Other items from your menu, we did not have any comments because we did not have a chance to try them. So I’m not making any negative impacts on your business. You can listen to me as a customer and improve the new dish to be better, so you can get more positive reviews from other customers. Or you can ignore, whatever you, as an owner, want to do. But don’t think customers’ reviews like mine aim to bring your business down. Lastly, thank you for your invitation to come back! Though, we are not happy when you guys thought our review was intended for a negative purpose.

Guess what? I think their other foods taste better than their sandwiches, sorry if that’s an unpopular opinion. Their drinks are good and their apps and good their noodles are good but banhmi is in the name…. The lady helping us really knows what service with a smile is all about

Very cute and clean restaurant in an in-line strip mall. I have eaten here 3 times and I like the grilled pork bahn mi. This last trip my daughter and I tried the chicken and the lemongrass. For me the lemongrass was too strong of a flavor. Not a knock on the restaurant, just personal preference. I really like this place and the food is consistent in my experience.

I’ve tried this place in Florida before and was surprised someone opened in Fresno.
Surprisingly, the one in Fresno tastes a lot better than the one in Florida.

Ordered the #2 sandwich (grilled pork). I enjoyed it. It’s not the traditional bread, but it’s still good. I like that the bread has a crunch to it, but it’s not hard like some places where it scratches the inside of my mouth. It’s a soft crunch where it is soft on the inside.

The sandwich is not half a sandwich. It is a foot long. So you get a big sandwich. I also tried the peach fruit tea, and it was ok. A little too sweet, and I forgot to lower the sweetness.

Tried the Bun Bo Hue. It’s ok. It’s good for beginners who havent tried bun bo hue because the flavors are a bit on the lighter side. I prefer my bun bo hue to have more flavors.

The crispy pancake is pretty good. Good amount of meat and the pancake itself has a good thickness where its not thin like paper. The dipping sauce is good. Only thing I didn’t care for is the bean sprouts. I would like it to be a little more crispy. I also like that it is not overly greasy.

The pad thai was my least favorite. It didn’t taste like a pad thai at all.

The pho here is overly sweet, and the spicy beef noodle (bun bò Huế style) is also sweeter than expected. Portions are good, but the flavor profile leans too sweet overall. The pork chop rice plate was also sweet. The banh mi was okay. Staff were friendly and service was good.

I’m always looking for the next good Banh Mi and this missed it for me. I have a regular place for Banh Mi and it’s still going to be my go to place. I was worried when I saw that the chicken Banh Mi says that the chicken was shredded. I knew that the chicken was going to be dry and it was. The saving grace was the special butter mayo that they use to keep the sandwich moist. The bread was nicely toasted but this sandwich needed help from the butter mayo to save it. Since, already this sandwich is a “no go” again for me. I’ll stick to the better places since the price of the others are about the same price. I really wanted to like this place. I had waited for it to open as I have waited for them to open since seeing their sign up.
