I wanted authentic Mexican food. Food was fresh. Good flavor. Loved the atmosphere –pleasant, laid back, not crowded at 3 pm for a late lunch. The staff was friendly and prompt with service. I think the price was average, nothing out of the ordinary. I liked that the portions were just right. And even then, some of us took food home. We ordered the beef tacos. The side beans of this had a surprising, pleaseant kick to it, but the spiciness not overpowering; I had the chicken gorditas. I had the chicken fajita ones, because I did not want the ground chicken meat. However, I would offer the chicken pieces in the gorditas in smaller pieces. That’s my personal opinion. We also ordered the carnitas plates. It was delicious! That was a lot of carnitas meat on that plate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Luis the Cook came out to greet us and asked if next time there was a special way to make us a dish and if they had the ingredients he would gladly do it

We were excited to try this place because of the Google and Yelp rating. 4.8/5 on Google and 92% recommended on Yelp. But little did I know I would have a bad experience. Customer service was good but the food was not good. We ordered the steak fajita Gordita plate and the chicken tostadas plate. Food came out cold/room temperature and the taste was not pleasant at all. It didn’t taste fresh and and looked and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The quality of the steak was on the lower end as well. We actually ended up getting sick from eating the tostadas plate. We barely finished our food and just took the L for the experience. I would not recommend this place and I am worried they may not be following proper food handling.

So glad we found this place for breakfast tacos! I ordered the potato and eggs and the chorizo tacos which were my favorite. The chorizo and eggs were held together so perfect like an omelette! Can’t wait to go back! Next time I might order the pozole. When do y’all make pozole?

Really excellent food – great combination of flavors. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was very different in flavor than any other I’ve had, with great intensity of flavor.
