I LOVE Vitality Bowls, especially this location. My family and I have been coming since they opened almost 14 years ago and I’m sad to say that the quality has significantly decreased over the years. The staff are always friendly, but bowls and smoothies are very inconsistent. They’re still very good and inconsistency does occur of course with different people making the items on different days but the biggest inconsistency has been the portion sizes. I’ve recently been receiving bowls that are half full, which is really disappointing seeing as they are $12+ depending on what type of bowl you order and what size you choose. It doesn’t always happen but when it does it’s frustrating paying so much for such a small amount, especially an amount that is smaller than advertised. Even with the new Palmettos opening up soon at the City Center, I plan to still come to this location as I do love the bowls here, but it would be great if this issue was addressed to maybe implement a bit of consistency and not shorting customers on the items they are purchasing, seeing as its something some other customers have experienced and have left reviews about as well.

Visiting town to stay with some family for the holidays when I came in to this location to try out their food, I didn’t know they had hot items as well but I went with the peanut butter chia toast! Wait time was practically 0, as my food was out in less than 5 minutes and pretty good!

Shouldn’t be allowed to advertise this cup size then fill it up only 2/3.

I ordered an extra topping on top which they ended up being out of which is fine. The girl said she’d remove the extra charge for the topping, then saw it was still there when she gave me a copy of my receipt.

I ordered a superfood bowl which I always order, and the base of this bowl was wrong. It normally has a deep blue / purple color and this bowl has light pink.

I really want to give this place a chance because I think they have good taste and one of the best textures for acai bowls. But after 2 years of trying and being disappointed every single time. I think I am finally done.

The vitality bowls themselves are fine… but DO NOT ORDER SANDWICHES. No atmosphere. You’re expected to order through a computer yourself. Bread sucks. SUPER TINY for an un-toasted $9 avocado toast with premade avocado spread and a FLAT $13 panini. Not to mention they forgot the chicken on both.

Only good experiences here so far.

Update: Was at 5-star, just received a half smoothie, and honestly don’t think I’m coming back. Other smoothie was full and food was good. Too many other options around to deal with this. They did seem short staffed but how can you give that to someone?

My fav local smoothie shop! The smoothies are delicious and they keep me full and energized for hours after I work out and go about my day. The service is always friendly and super quick.

They are not open during the hours posted on their door or online. Here at 9:45 on a Saturday and they are closed.

I placed an order through DoorDash (convoluted because it was through an entity called Harvest Kitchen, but the food that arrived had Vitality Bowls branded lids on them), and I checked boxes to exclude cheese and to indicate I have a dairy allergy. The two identical bowls I got both came with cheese all over them, and I had to fight with DoorDash a little to get a full refund. I also requested the phone number of the restaurant, but DD gave me a nonworking phone number. Eventually I found the number myself. The reason I’m giving a good review is that when I called the store to let them know what happened, the gal who answered the phone was super apologetic and sweet, and actually seemed concerned and sorry that they screwed up my order. This seems to have become vanishingly rare; it’s amazing how often people will make mistakes and then act like jerks when you try to talk to them about it. My customer service experience with this person at Vitality Bowls was very positive, and I would go back to the restaurant just because of that.

I’ve gone here a few times for lunch and usually get one of their açaí bowls. However whenever I get a sandwich, they are very low effort and quality. I just got the steak chimichurri wrap and was excited because it looked really good in the photo. When I got it, it was leaking oil in the wrapping paper and was not even cut in half. None of the ingredients were integrated throughout and each bite had a different flavor. The place only has one employee at a time usually and it’s always a middle/high school student. The amount of effort they put into your food is minimal.

My friends and I went to this location and we were unsatisfied. I ordered a vitality bowl and the açaí was very icy and clumpy, and the toppings were also very minimal. My friend ordered a wrap and the worker forgot to heat it up; after giving us the food, the worker asked if we had eaten it yet before taking it back and grilling it. The place was clean though and the atmosphere was nice.
