If you are looking for a quick, healthy meal Grilled Chic is definitely it. I stop here whenever I want something for myself, family, co-workers, or a second meal for some nights you don’t feel like making dinner and doing dishes!!!!
The chicken has the perfect amount of flavor, not too saucy…just the right amount of char from the grill to give it that authentic “Bento” taste. It’s juicy, tender, and consistently cooked. My other fav is the chow mein.
Don’t forget the sides! Their macaroni salad and broccoli salad are great and good replacement if you don’t want rice. . For the price, the portions are incredibly generous. You can easily get a full, satisfying bento box for less than the cost of a greasy combo meal at a big-chain drive-thru.
The location is super easy to find right off Hwy 101, making it easy to pull in and out. The service is consistently great, the people here are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome the second you walk up (or drive through).

Grilled Chic is an absolute gem!
I am totally loving the flavors from the perfectly grilled chicken to the fresh vegetables and seriously delicious sauces. Everything tastes clean, intentional, and full of flavor. And let’s talk about the broccoli salad… hands down my favorite. Healthy goodness at its finest! I could easily eat it as a full meal or snack on it all day long.
The portions are incredibly generous, which makes it even better. You leave feeling satisfied and energized not heavy.
My only regret? That Grilled Chic isn’t closer to me in Brookings, Oregon. But honestly… it’s that good and 100% worth the drive to Crescent City for pickup.
If you ever expand to Brookings, Oregon, just know you’d have a line out the door and a very happy local cheering you on holding a fork. What a treat that would be!

Stopped at Grilled Chic because it had a name I didn’t recognize, which is my road-trip rule for avoiding chains. It worked.
Great rice bowl with half chicken and half steak. The chicken had a nice char, the sauces were clearly homemade, and it was protein-forward without the dreaded road-trip belly. The broccoli and macaroni salads leaned a bit sweet for us, but that’s personal taste.

Absolutely loved the grilled chicken and rice. The chicken was tender and juicy with just the right amount of char, and the rice was perfectly cooked — fluffy, warm, and a great base for the sauce. The real star was the peppered Korean BBQ sauce: sweet, savory, smoky, and just a little spicy with a bold pepper finish that tied everything together. Every bite was packed with flavor without being overpowering. I’d 100% order this again.

An amazing roadside grilled chicken joint! We ordered a large teriyaki chicken and white rice bowl to share with a side of brocolli salad.
The chicken was BBQ-ed to perfection and the sauce was delicious. Great portion size at a great price.

We were camping in the redwoods and came to town for groceries and just had to stop and try this! You choose your size, white or brown rice, your meat and sauce for a nice rice bowl. We had white rice, chicken and pineapple teriyaki. It was delicious!!! The owner and staff at the window were friendly and quick. There was a line behind us at 3:30 on a Thursday! Great concept & great execution! Highly recommend!

We went here this week for the first time. My husband had teriyaki chicken and veges and I had chow mein. The food was fresh and the portions large…it made two meals each for us! Not to mention how nice the cashier was…definitely recommend!

A perfect pre or post workout bowl. Chicken is perfectly cooked, portion is more filling than it looks, prices are reasonable, sauces are delicious. Chicken itself doesn’t really have any seasoning but that makes me feel like it’s less salt and less calories than other places. Our go to on Sundays when a lot of places are closed.
