The people working here were nice, but… The food here did not taste authentic at all… The batter on the orange chicken and sweet and sour pork was so thick that you could barely taste the meat. The salt and pepper tofu tasted like it had zero salt and used what tasted like store bought tofu from Safeway or something. The best dish was the green beans. I won’t be coming back, but if you’re just looking for ok Chinese food it’ll be fine I guess.

I was just wondering why did my Salt and Pepper Squid taste like Curry.
I like the texture but I was not expecting that taste.
Hong Kong Noodles could use more sauce.
Very Good Orange Chicken!!! Great Meat and Batter!!!

Very homie type of comfort food. Food always tastes great have been going here for years ! Salt and pepper chicken is my go to favorite. Small interior so best for takeout. The cooks are great, host is always nice. Be warned it can get crazy busy on weekends especially evenings, its better to order in person and just grocery shop nearby while you wait.

Small place but big servings. Not recommended for dine ins because of only 4 tables. Menu is vast and food is excellent. Funky comedic name but not the dishes. Hours is 11:30am-3pm & 4:30pm-8pm

Surprisingly decent Chinese food, especially for being in Walnut Creek. The lunch portion was huge. The food seemed pretty high quality – was not oily and didn’t feel heavy in my stomach. I am sensitive to MSG and there was definite none used in prepping my food. They only have like 4 tables, so it may be more of a takeout joint.

Very good food, large portions, and great service. Not really a dine in kind of place but everybody’s go to for takeout!

Yummy American Chinese food. Nice family. Great location. Quiet neighborhood outdoor strip mall. Have some tables, but its really a take out place.

This is our new go-to for takeout Chinese. Highly recommend the chef special eggplant, chicken and shrimp dish. Hong king noodles are also wonderful.

I go out of my way to get their beef chow fun. Delicious, and they get the noodles right, which meant restaurants don’t; fully cooked but not stuck together.

Kung Fu Kitchen in Walnut Creek exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Despite arriving near closing time, the staff warmly accommodated us and took our order with a friendly attitude. They even offered to let us pay next time when we realized we didn’t have cash. The flavors and quality of the food were outstanding, showcasing their attention to detail and authentic taste. The cozy ambiance and tasteful decor added to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Kung Fu Kitchen is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for their remarkable service, delicious cuisine, and unforgettable dining experience.
