I stopped by The Mermaid Room Coffee Bar and tried their iced coffee/matcha not bad at all! I’d definitely come back for the drinks. The place has a cute vibe and it’s a nice little spot to grab a pick-me-up.
That said… the girl at the front taking orders didn’t bring the best energy. I’m not expecting over-the-top smiles, but a little friendliness goes a long way especially in the morning when people are just trying to start their day with a good coffee and good vibes.
Still, overall a cute spot just hope next time the service feels a little more welcoming. ☕ ♀️

I loved it ambiance cute mygs, jewlery, nicnacks i only gave 4 for service because i had to bother them to ask flavors i did know they had them and she didnt tell me but told the customer after me. Just something id like to be told in case it’s your first time, but very sweet, very cute loved the clothing all around and little jewlery holders etc. It was a really good cold chai and my in law had a good ol normal hot coffee they loved

The cutest store on the island! Maybe not THE cutest but definitely one of the best. Coffee shop and boutique. Very unique clothing, books, trinkets and home decor. I love stopping here when I’m in town to see what stylish and seasonal things they have!

I love the mermaid room! I love their tumeric latte, which i haven’t found anywhere else so everyone has got to try it! Liz the barista always makes my drink perfect and is very welcoming! def recommending to my friends and coming back next summer!

This place is the cutest!! The coffee is great and the service is even better. Everyone was beyond sweet and so fun to chat with. I actually hung around just to talk with the lovely girls working there! The clothes are absolutely adorable too, with the perfect mix of beachy and fun vibes that totally fit a beach town. Such a happy little spot. I seriously can’t wait to go back!

I’m very supportive of small businesses, but this place was just way too expensive.
I got a hot coffee, an iced coffee and a pastry and it was close to $25. The coffee was average and the pastry was the same.
I can’t justify spending that much money for morning coffee even on LBI.

Just what our beach town needed, a friendly coffee joint with wonderful service. Plus there’s always time to browse around the shop to find a little gem of Ashley’s fine taste or just sit outside and people watch. Plus buying flowers now got so easy!!! I wish you many years of success ♀️

I visited The Mermaid Room while on a day visit to LBI. The atmosphere was very welcoming and my latte was great. I purchased one of the mugs and love making my own iced lattes to enjoy in it! I would highly recommend anyone who is in the area stop there and will certainly be back the next time I’m in town!

The best coffee shop not only in LBI but that I have ever experienced. The matcha is delectable and they curate unique seasonal drinks that are like nothing you can find. On top of that, it’s the perfect place for a housewarming gift, some of my most beautiful clothes come from there and the quality is top notch. Can’t leave the shop without an adorable trinket, piece of jewelry, straw hat, backgammon set etc. Ashley’s exquisite style is evident in every piece in the store. The staff is so friendly, they greet my dogs with the cutest pup cups. I start every day in LBI here and enjoy my delicious blueberry matcha in a calming and fun atmosphere. Not enough words to describe how fond I am of this gem of a place !!
