We were pleasantly surprised at how good the cocktails were-top notch! I would recommend the house sake and the beef tataki was one of the best I’ve ever had. On a side note this was the only place in town I could find fresh oysters on Wednesday.

They set this down at the table as soon as I picked it out now that’s service. I got the karaage sandwich it was really tasty very good a little spicy not sure if it says that on the menu or not but good either way (just a little sensitive to spice) keep on keeping on I’ll definitely be back

Solid food selection, great cocktails. I’ve had their ramen a number of times, and it never does me wrong. I find sometimes ramen can feel greasy to eat from other places, but Naka’s ramen always tastes fresh! I love fresh oysters as well, and so I’m personally thankful Naka exists because its, as far as I know, the only place in Peterborough to get fresh oysters. They always have a nicely curated selection of oysters to try! Their beef tataki is to die for, man. They also have really delicious takes on traditional cocktails like sours and mules. My personal favourites are their Yuzu Whiskey Sour and their Mandarin Gin Sour. I could drink them like they’re juice. Overall, if you’re looking for a fresh and young restaurant with an elevated enough feeling that you could take a date there, you’ve found that place in Naka.

I had such a nice experience. First off all, they were playing the original Pokemon on the TV. That was amazing. Please keep playing Pokemon! The atmosphere is super cozy and warm. I love the small chairs. The food was sooo yummy. I got the Tantan ramen, the broth was salty and a little spicy – Just perfect. The ramen noodles were really good! My partner got the pork katsu curry – He said it was great. His only complain was he said he wishes there was a little more curry sauce with it. The service was very kind and friendly. I can’t wait to come back!

Ate here recently for my birthday and my goodness was it incredible. It was a quiet Tuesday night with a snow storm on the way so we were the only people in the restaurant but mobile orders were flying out the door. Definitely a testament to how amazing the food is. The atmosphere of this place is insanely lush and totally compliments the experience. The staff were also very friendly! I didn’t get a chance to try it but their drink menu is extensive and looks very intriguing! Definitely will be back in the future!

Great food, great service! Appetizers were delicious – we had pork belly lettuce wraps, karaage, and yakitori. The ramen bowls were excellent – generous portion, served piping hot, all around very good. Highly recommend!

I had the privilege of experiencing their 10 course tasting. Every dish was perfection, courses were paced beautifully, the service was impeccable and incredibly friendly. What a fabulous place with fantastic food and even better service. Looking forward to my next meal there

Had the garlic vegetable ramen (added egg) and the matcha mousse cheesecake. Both of these were HEAVEN. If you are a garlic lover, you have to get this. So tasty on a cold winter day.

I was in for lunch this afternoon, and it was absolutely delicious!
As I understand the lunch service is recently new to Naka. What an opportunity to enjoy a very tasty lunch, with warm friendly service.
I had the Miso/Vegetable soup with a side order of Karrsge chicken, and a small side of kimchi. “ i’m officially full till tomorrow” 🙂
Reasonable lunch prices and great atmosphere.
A special thank you to Emily and her staff at Naka.

Cozy and sheek little place with friendly service, lively pop music, and tasty dishes.
The Pork Belly Lettuce Wrap is a must try.
The Shoyu and Tonkatsu ramen were also delicious. The portion size and proportions were just right. The Gyoza and Shrimp Tempura were alright, nothing special.
Just a word of caution, the spicy option is quite hot, so if your tolerance for heat is not high, I’d suggest sticking to the milder options.
To get the full vibe of the place, I’d suggest going once it’s dark outside.
I recommend this place
