We ordered over the phone and I went inside to pick up. They were busy and I was nervous I was going to have to wait but nope. They were super duper fast! The girl who helped me at the counter was friendly and even understood me when I kept calling tarter sauce “tater sauce”! ♀️The food was plentiful and soooo good. We will definitely be eating their again! ❤️

Great seafood at Da Pearl. It was our first time and we will definitely return. We had the catfish and okra plus shrimp and hush puppies platters. The seafood is delicious and you can tell it is domestically caught. I would rather pay a little more for the quality of domestic seafood and you don’t know the chemicals you’re putting in your body with foreign raised seafood. The batter on the seafood was well seasoned and applied nicely to give a light crispy texture. The sides of hush puppies and okra are very good. We also had side salads and were impressed at the freshness of the vegetables The employees were very helpful and pleasant. They have outdoor seating and a robust to go business. We didn’t try the boiled seafood but many people were getting crawfish.

Very good! Everything was fresh, hot and seasoned well. Ordered the seafood platter for Friday lent season. The fish were large, thick and flaky. Large gulf shrimp & delicious soft fried oysters ( I asked for soft fried) . Cooked perfectly! For the two sides, Plenty hush puppies & the scoop of potato salad was ok. Had a tad too much mustard flavor for myself , but not bad. Definitely a large platter & will have leftovers for sure. They have a drive thru & not far into Pearl River, so not far from Slidell. Pleasantly surprised & Definitely recommend!

BEST SEAFOOD CATERING on the northshore!!! Jamie helped us with a catering order and she went above and beyond to make sure our order was correct and our food was fresh! We ordered fried shrimp and fried catfish and the flavor and spice was outstanding. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

I’m very disappointed bc I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place . Well, when I came in there to order some po boys and a cup of gumbo it took about an hour. There were 4 people in the restaurant total eating. I ordered three poor boys in a cup of gumbo that was it. And I’m waiting all this time. I get my po boys, but no gumbo?? Turns out the girl didn’t even put that in!! So I had to wait even longer and by the Time I got the gumbo my poboys were cold and they wouldn’t do anything about it. Even though they were the ones that caused all that time to wait!!!

Yall dont sleep on this place! I got the snowcrab special and everything was delicious..flavor is awesome..just the right spice for me! The price was great too! They have different food to choose from and it all looked delicious!!!!

As soon as I walked outside to wait on my food I regretted not noticing the sign next door. I’ve learned over the years the corner stores have better food for better prices than regular restaurants in new orleans. I decided to see if that theory held true here.
I ordered a fish and shrimp poboy which costs more than either alone. In my mind this meant a fish poboy with some shrimp added. Instead it is half and half. Meaning less expensive to make than a full hrimp poboy but you still pay extra. This left me a little grumpy. Which is why decided to prove said point.
The gas station next door is cheaper for more food. I do regret not taking an updated menu picture, but I believe you can pretty add a dollar to everything from the one taken 3 years ago. Still beats Da’pearl.
I like seafood and don’t get down here much so I decided to walk next door and order a fish poboy here as well. The food in the box is from the gas station while the food in the paper is from Da’Pearl. I took a piece of fish off of half of the sandwich from the gas station to show the size difference. Da’pearl is a 10″ to begin with while the gas station is 12″. Forgive me I can’t remember the name, I’ll pretty much be copying this review to them.
The only thing Da’pearl has is selection, they do have more seafood, but to be fair the station is a chicken place that also has seafood.
And no, I didn’t call the number on the wall before putting you on blast, just do better.
