We thought we were stopping for lunch on the way home, but discovered the general store! Our kids enjoyed watching baby barn swallows being fed in their nests, finding the queen bee, and playing all of the games on the porch. You can tell the owners have invested so much time and love into this establishment- we will definitely come back.

Very conformable outside seating with great quality food. I will admit the chicken salad was a bit on the bland side. I may just be accustomed to sweet chicken salad and sometimes having raisins or apple chunks mixed in.

The BBQ sandwich was “yummy!” according to the young lady tearing into it. The side order of coleslaw was very fresh. The woman running the place was kind and friendly. Very nice addition to the store and other activities here.

This was a delightful addition to our Orchard visit! The JUMBO hotdogs and chilled apple cider were perfect for a hungry family fresh off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The friendly staff even offered a chopped wiener for the pup . No need to search for food before a day of picking. These folks got you covered!
