This restaurant is now called Pho House. They shouldn’t have changed the name as Pho House makes one think it specializes in Pho.
We were seated on the upper part of the restaurant. I believe there’s only one server.
First, we order the spring roll. It was very greasy and the veggies inside were still cold. There were 3 pieces, one was lukewarm inside but the other two was cold. As much as I’d like to have them cook it more we just let it be since it was slow going with the service. We waited a while for our house Pho. I honestly wanted to leave and just pay for the drink and the cold eggrolls but we waited a bit more.
So, the Pho came with a chunk of rib, bone in. No sliver of tripe or tendons. Mostly Meatballs and little bits of meat.
We wonder why it took so long for them to make the Pho. Did they have to boil the ribs in order for it to be soft?
They lack a lot of condiments that go with the soup. I would like to ask for fish sauce or roasted garlic, but instead we just ask for hoisin sauce…
When the server came,to serve pho, I told her about tge cold spring rolls. She was gracious enough to compensate with sesame balls.

I love the service. The food is amazing, and I’ve never been disappointed. I recommend the crab puffs. Order to pick up, or dine in, they are awesome.

They are closing down this wonderful restaurant in Dec. of 2023. I’m sad to see them go but this economic downturn has been rough on everyone. I wish the owners and their family all the best in their future endeavors.

I return time and again because of the friendly owner and excellent food.

Great portions and still haven’t had a bad meal at this little gem in rural Oregon. It is definitely an American Chinese restaurant so don’t expect the smells and tastes of China, but they pull off pretty great flavors and are super friendly. I return when I can and would certainly recommend this restaurant if you have a taste for some good fusion.

Called in our order and upon arriving to pick it up I was really surprised, so much food WOW! Such a great deal, The Prices Are Appropriate, The Food Is Awesome. We even have enough for a second and probably third day.
But even better than that is the Incredible Kindness from the staff. Super Friendly, Really Kind & Helpful, and we shared a couple good laughs. What A Great Experience. Lets not forget places like The Chinese Kitchen Restaurant during this pandemic, They Too Depend on Patrons.

I always order the Happy Family lunch special. It’s enough for 2+ meals and very tasty. Crab puffs are delish, but I wish they gave sweet and sour sauce with them. Nice owner and order us always ready when she says to come.

Service was good, very nice people. Prices a bit high for what you get. I ordered lo mein with shrimp and scallops. Shrimp cooked perfect,scallops were like rubber and tasted like they had gone bad. Overall the food was bland, we won’t go there again.
