The atmosphere alone makes it special. Whether you’re sitting inside enjoying the warm, welcoming dining room or out on the patio taking in the fresh mountain air, it’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy a conversation, and appreciate being in Ruidoso.
But what really sets Rainmakers apart is the culinary artistry behind both the food and the drinks. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, and you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they create. From beautifully prepared dishes to the way the cocktails are put together, there’s a level of creativity and care that makes every visit feel like a treat.
One of my favorite things about Rainmakers though is how much they support and bring together the community. Over the years, it has become a wonderful gathering place for local events and fundraisers that benefit people right here in Ruidoso. Seeing neighbors come together for great causes over great food and drinks is something that makes this place even more meaningful.
As a local real estate broker, I spend a lot of time helping people discover what makes living in this area so special, and places like Rainmakers are a big part of that story. It’s not just a restaurant — it’s a place where the community connects.
If you’re visiting Ruidoso or thinking about making the move here, Rainmakers is definitely one of those spots that shows you the heart of this mountain town.
So overall a very solid spot with a high end feel 🙂
We had brunch the first visit and the food was fantastic and the waiter was super friendly and had great recommendations. Our second and third times were for dinner and we tried special menu items and regular menu items, and again the staff here were pleasant, attentive and Chef Mashon has visited our table each visit and is such a lovely person!
Brunch is great! Fluffiest omelet I’ve ever had in my life, perfect lemon ricotta pancakes and a savory chicken & waffle dish.
We enjoyed the pho a few weeks ago and last week we tried the Tom Kha, the special salmon dish, truffle-parm-mac & cheese and the pork dish…all delicious!!
This is the first place we’ve been to since moving here a year ago that has actually used salt and spices in the food!!! Most restaurants around town are quite bland, y’all know what I’m talking about.
We will continue to frequent this restaurant to try more of Chef Mashon’s wonderful menu items.
Everything here is still delicious!! We’ve been to a couple wine events as well and they are also wonderful experiences.
Beautiful restaurant but acoustics terrible too loud to enjoy meal
Ask to be relocated to patio
Beautiful setting glorious night
Food was good but every item was cold
The view and club was really nice.
Service was extremely good.
