The burgers were awesome – it really tasted fresh and right off the grill. Also had the clam chowder in bread bowl and the grilled chicken salad. Both were great. Remember that the clam chowder has bacon bits, so don’t get it if you are averse to bacon (like me!). The atmosphere left a lot to be desired. It was very hole-in-wall vibes, but the prices also reflected that.
Once you settle into the atmosphere though, the food is all you care about, am I right? Hah.
Super chill staff as well. Will go here again and get take out.

Fresh meat burger, crispy fries, delicious pickles, I love this place. Very friendly service and clean restaurant. Just a few seats for dining inside but picnic tables outside. Plenty of parking. We were looking for a burger place and some of them down the road. We’re just too expensive $24 or so. This place has a great burger for just $9. Cooked on a grill, great tasting burger meat with fresh pickles, tomato, lettuce, and red onion. I just love it. It was so good.. don’t waste your money at the other place is charging $24. My husband and I ate here shared a small fry two burgers two drinks for $26..

We had a burger, a hot dog and fries. I’m pretty sure the burgers aren’t actually charbroiled, because the grill looked like a regular gas grill. They probably just add smoke liquid to the patties.

As a long time local, I’m so happy I finally tried Tahoe Bro’s! Super friendly service….and the burgers were amazing! I ordered the pepper jack mushroom burger (medium). The burger was cooked to perfection! Great ratio of all the burger ingredients. Yummy, super fresh fries! My granddaughter had the basic cheeseburger & loved it.
Best of luck to all of you on your new restaurant! I’ll be back for sure!

We got the Tahoe Bros Super Salad with grilled chicken on top. I wasn’t expecting much but it was really good for it being a burger joint.
The salad included spring mix, avocado, sliced onions, bell pepper, tomatoes, cucumber and freshly grilled chicken. The chicken was still warm after coming off the grill – that’s how you know it was cooked fresh to order! Sorry, no pics but I highly recommend this place!
Service and friendliness of staff was top notch too.

Tahoe Bros is an amazing Cinderella story of success with the best burgers in the West to match their story. This chef team was the face of Izzy’s Burger Spa until their owner passed away. Upholding the menu and dream, they pivoted and opened Tahoe Bros. This little hole in the wall burger joint in South Lake is literally the best little not so secret place in town. Perfect for locals and tourist, Tahoe Bros is the best food on mountain.

Best darn burgers anywhere. Will be missing these when we get back to Texas. They were so good we went twice in 1 week. Had to wash my hands when finished because Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich was so juicy. Fries were cooked perfectly also. Had lots of staff on hand to handle the crowd.
