It was my first time ordering. I ordered when I walked in. It took about 15 minutes to cook. The pizza was made fresh. It was also cool to watch the owner making not only my pie but to others.
While the pizzas were in the oven, Cindy and I had an enjoyable conversation about food at other restaurants, which included chocolate cake and real strawberry milk shakes.
When I arrived home to enjoy my pie, I must say that it was one of the best that I have had in a while. It was worth the 30 minute drive.
Thank you Cindy! I will be back.

Amazing!!
The only pizza shop in CL and Woodstock that makes pizza that does not leave you feeling bad. You can tell they put a lot of effort and care into making their pizzas. The crust is so crisp and delicious. The only place I go for pizza now.

Long story but I will try to spare you most of the details. Last night the pizza bus ended up at Pinemoor Pizza in Crystal Lake. This is a very small little mom&pop shop. You walk in and you are basically in the kitchen. They only have 2 small tables. This place only sells pizza, no appetizers, no salads, just pizza. They only sell 3 sizes of pizza, X-small, 12″ and 14.” The prices are decent at this place. I ordered a 14″ sausage and a 12″ sausage, mushroom and green peppers with 2 cans of Coke and the bill was $36. The outside edge of the crust was that saltine cracker style crust that was very crunchy and hollow in the middle. The rest of the pizza was ultra thin and very floppy. The sauce was thick and had a touch of sweetness. It was almost like straight tomato paste out of the can. The cheese was your basic Mozzarella and had a good flavor. The star of the pizza was the chunks of delicious Italian sausage. My friend ate the 12″ pizza with the 3 toppings. Because the crust was so thin and floppy it was quite the mess. It was definitely the type of pizza that you would want to eat at home with your shirt off. All in all it was an ok pizza.

This small pizza shop is a “MUST TRY” for thin crust pizza. It is the perfect, most delicious, Chicago-style thin crust I have had in years. I’ve been a pizza fan from the late 60’s. No longer living in Illinois makes one truly appreciate what this area has to offer, that few, to no place else does.

Had pizza delivered. Arrived in decent time. Pizza tasted funny. Later in the night massive stomach upset and vomiting. I won’t be trying this place again. Never had it before so wanted to try something new. Pizza was basic pepperoni and sausage nothing crazy

Best delivery pizza in town. I’ve always loved this pizza. The cheese is so good and exactly how pizza should be. Toppings are fresh and delicious. Sometimes delivery can take a while but they are a one shop operation and it’s worth it. I suggest getting your pizzas well done if you like a crispier crust!

My family was walking out of Coco Rolls and smelled the homemade pizza in the air. We walked over and ordered a thin large with 2 toppings and one of the toppings was fresh garlic! The menu was perfectly simple and ready in 15-20! You are in business since 1952 for a reason:) We will be back!!
