We went today with family, after wait for a while due to restaurant being busy, the service was above and beyond.
Knowing that the place just recently opened up, the food and service were exceptionally great. The food was great as well the staff.

Very tasty food and excellent service! Came in 12/31/25 and I liked the food. Make sure you indicate your spiciness levels to them ahead of time. Place was also very clean. They also had a prayer space which I appreciate!

This is a great fine dining place to have and much needed in the region. No slight on any of the walk and sit in style restaurants but a place with a splash of elegance was needed. Staff was very friendly and the food was good too. This place has a menu to satisfy all the dilemmas in the family or large group. Want desi? They have it. Want American? They have it. Want desi Chinese? They have it. We ventured out and made the drive and did not regret it at all.

The food was delicious with perfectly balanced spices that truly reflect authentic Pakistani flavors. Presentation was a 10/10, and the service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Riwayat has been a game-changer for our community, a much-needed desi restaurant that understands taste, ambience and presentation. The food is amazing, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is very elegant and inviting.
We celebrated our son’s first birthday at Riwayat, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us and for our guests. The owners were present through out , took charge of everything and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time.
We’re grateful to the 2 very talented brothers Mian Awais and Mian Adil for bringing our dream Celebration to life.
Another very important thing to note is their location . Very convenient for all major towns in CT.
Their indo-chinese is just as tasty as their pakistani food. We are very excited for their arrival in CT !!

Finally we have an authentic Pakistani restaurant in Connecticut. Everything we tried was excellent. Kababs, karahi, chaat, drinks. Food is on the pricey side, but the price does not matter when you provide a superior product, so maintaining consistency will be the key for this place. Great service as well.

I ordered pakistani style Gol Gappy(pani puri) and fried fish as an appetizer, these taste soo goood I can’t get over these appetizers
Also I ordered Pomfret fish it was very delicious, moreover Chany and Goat karahi with some fresh sesame and garlic Naan, it was the next level, feels like i just went into my home country
The ambiance and vibe was amazing!
