Can you say amazing Saugy’s and Italian Grinders! Add beer and cocktails! The bomb digity. BartenderJay has a great personality, fast service, and always a smile! Perfect little bar, with good food and service. Fish n chips and snail salad are amazing also!

I usually go on St. Patrick’s day for their dinner. Most places offer a cornbeef sandwhich only. I’ve been there now 3 years in a row for their dinner. The first 2 times with my husband and while waiting had a drink which was made superb. This past year, I went alone because some people think affairs are the new norm. The food was still great. Thank you, The Whalen, for being the one consistent thing in this woman’s life.

place has been here for ever. barmaids used to be rude and only serve their regulars. after 3 attempts i quit going 3 years ago. went back again recently and had a much more enjoyable experience actually got waited on quickly and cheerfully . they now have Whalers Rise on draft which goes well with the tasty food that the kitchen offers.

Been going there for over 30yrs. They have the best bar food in Warwick. A lot of it is homemade. Also you can’t beat the prices. The staff are great. Everything you want in a local bar that welcomes first timers. Pool tables, darts, music, Keno and TVs to watch your favorite games. Wings, club sandwichs,chili (one of my favorites besides the snail salad), fish and chips to meatloaf dinners.
