Grabbed lunch here and think this might be one of the most authentic Mexican spots in the area. Shared the Espanola torta and Sopa de Res (beef soup) with my wife and both were very good with generous portions. Looking forward to trying their other items.
Would say this more of a takeout spot but they have a few tables inside if you are looking to dine in.

Honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve had so far! I had them 2 days in a row for lunch because how impressed I was. I got the Colombian empanada and the Al pastor tacos. I will definitely be back!

Ordered delivery – the 5 “mini” taquitos, birria grilled cheese, and birria burrito. When food arrived we were shocked by the portion sizes! The “mini taquitos” were maybe only slightly smaller than regular street tacos, if even that. Half the grilled cheese by itself could’ve filled someone for lunch. The burrito was gigantic.
As for taste, first bites of the grilled cheese dipped in birria were filled with audible “mmm”s. The bread was so flavorful, and the meat perfectly cooked. Same with the burrito, which came with same meat plus rice and beans. Everything was juicy, and birria itself was flavorful with onion and cilantro, and not greasy or too heavy. The taquitos were yummy, the pastor especially with big pineapple chunks, but all the other flavors tasted very similar to one another and hard to distinguish. But all tasted good. Delivery included cups of green and red sauces which were delicious on the taquitos. The burrito was as yummy as the sandwich, especially with the birria.
My favorite part was how much care went into our delivery order. The birria containers were well wrapped to avoid leakage. The taquitos platter included peppers and roasted green onion. All meals came with ample radish and lime.
I was wary for the price ($15 burrito, $15 grilled cheese), but so impressed and stuffed!!! If you are extremely hungry, just one of those items will fill you and then some. My husband and I wouldve been more than full splitting the grilled cheese and the 5 mini taquitos. I’m glad to have such a great Mexican option in the neighborhood with great bang for you buck portion sizes. If you are looking at the prices, know most items can probably be cut in half and split with someone else.
I only regret not taking pictures beforehand for this review, but the good smelled too good and we had to dig in.

I came here for the Colombian empanadas, as I am Colombian, but I found them very disappointing. Tacos were pretty good but definitely not los Angeles good. Pretty large tacos, almost burrito size for me, but I prefer quality over quantity. Prices were very fair.

Wow! I am so happy this place opened up in the neighborhood. I just had the best torta of my life here – Milanesa de pollo, really good. Also had an incredible birria grilled cheese, super tender, juicy and well-seasoned. This is the only Mexican food I’ll ever order when I’m in Queens.
