We got the lobsters and fillet mignons and they taste amazing! Both the owner and the chef are very friendly and know their food well. Highly recommend!

Make sure to bring insect repellent as the restaurant is in the middle of a park, where there were lots of mosquitoes after the rain.

The filet mignon is fabulous. Top quality Alberta beef cooked to perfection. Great wine list to go with your meal. Wilfredo and the boys always provide excellent service. We will definitely be back

Make sure you book reservations before showing up here. The grotto is pretty small and seats about 2 dozen people outside. The inside tables disappear the quickest! We passed by in mid afternoon on a Tuesday and got the earliest rezo which was for 7:30pm. We were sitting outside and as the sun went down, the moths started to come out. Another thing about sitting outside is occasionally, you may get a whiff of “drain” smell. I suspect it comes from the stale artificial pond in the park. So if you’re picky about environment, make sure you book really early to secure indoor seating!

That being said, the grilled langoustine with salad and rice made it worth the minor discomfort! The price comes to 15CUC. It’s nicely grilled, and you can add garlic oil for extra oomph. The salad is simple just drizzle oil and vinegar on it. Water is 1CUC. I would come back again and try the steak. I had run out of CUC so I went with the less expensive dish. A couple at the neighboring table ordered the steak and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bathroom is just to the right of the grotto outside of the restaurant. Just BYOTP 😉

I would give it a 6 out of 5 if I could! Amazing, must do experience.
I was skeptical of the whole “dinner in a cave” concept, but the food, service and ambience were exceptional. The lobster was the best I’ve ever had and the prices very reasonable. ($110 for 4 people including apps, entrees and beer/wine).
YOU MUST GO!!!

Not sure why it was rated high in Google but this place is below average personally. I had this USD25 for this prawn dish.

So happy we heard about this place and visited on our last night in Veradero. Amazing lobster at a great price, coupled with awesome staff tucked away in a picturesque park. Would absolutely go here again, just wish it werent so far away!

I have been several times, always great! Much better than all the paladars, which are getting full of themselves and have hired taxi drivers for recommendations for commissions! Restricted menu, ( have you seen the size of the kitchen? ), but has never failed to impress. This year on offer was lobster and triple A Alberta beef tenderloin steak, both perfectly executed. A welcome quiet retreat from resort noise in lovely Josone Park. Ate twice on this visit, highly recommend!

Very scamy! Expensive! We sat down and ordered drinks. After we got the drinks we got the menu presented, no written menu. They charged 25 USD for a chicken filet with rice and 28 USD for the lobster. We paid for our drinks (2 x 0.5 water + 1 beer: 9 USD) and left and went to Varadero 60. The prices there are also a bit high, but the food is awesome!! This is the second time we went to Varadero 60.
