We signed up for the igloo experience and it was 100 percent worth it. Having our own private igloo with a cozy fireplace heater made the night feel intimate and fun, especially during the colder weather. It felt like our own little rooftop escape.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. The drinks were amazing and the food completely exceeded expectations. We had the steak and the salmon, along with the gnocchi and chicken gnocchi, and every single dish was phenomenal. The bread they served was incredible, and the Parmesan potato wedges were the perfect appetizer.
A huge shoutout to our bartender JC. He made the best drink I’ve had in a long time. It was beautiful, perfectly crafted, and tasted just as good as it looked. Someone in our group ordered the smoked old fashioned and said it was possibly the best drink he’s ever had, which says a lot.
To top it all off, Top Note is decorated so cute for Christmas and is perfect for photos. Between the festive décor, the rooftop views, amazing food and drinks, and five star service, I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect for date night, celebrations, or a memorable Nashville experience.
Our table shared the garlic parmesan wedges, which were fantastic. I ordered the stuffed gnocchi and it was absolutely incredible. My husband had the bone-in ribeye, and he said it was delicious and perfectly prepared.
For cocktails, I enjoyed a spicy margarita that was beyond delicious. My husband had the Noteworthy Smoked Vanilla Old Fashioned, and the word “love” doesn’t even begin to describe how much he enjoyed it. I also tried the Cocoa Frost, which was a wonderful dessert drink.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and feels special in all the right ways. I can’t wait for my next dining experience at Top Note.
But the real star of the night was JC, the bartender. He makes the best smoked Old Fashioned in the area, no question. Smooth, balanced, perfectly done… it’s one of those drinks you end up telling people about.
It’s where we ended up meeting new friends and having real conversations, the kind you don’t always find when you’re traveling. The whole place just has that welcoming energy that pulls people together.
If you’re anywhere near this hotel, do yourself a favor and stop by the rooftop. Great drinks, great people, great memories. Highly recommend!
Courtney was our waitress and she was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her service truly made the night better.
The only downside was that the tables were a bit too low in the igloo and small for a group of 6 to 7 people, so we ended up having to hold plates in our laps at times. Other than that, it was a really good experience and we would definitely return.
I loved Top Note so much, I ended up going back every night of my stay— it did not disappoint! Each night was just as good as the first. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, I can’t thank Nate enough!
