I ordered a Mango Monsoon smoothie and was pretty disappointed. The smoothie was very lumpy and so thick that I could not drink it through the straw, so I had to use a spoon instead. The taste was not good either.
The fruit that came with it was badly bruised and looked old, which made it even less appetizing. This visit was not a great experience.

Excellent fast food alternative with a drive thru. The smoothies use high quality ingredients and can be customized for health or taste preferences. The food options are fresher and healthier than the usual fast food, and the prices are very reasonable. We love the chicken chipotle flatbread and the chicken quesadillas (the side of salsa is SO good!) and the corn side, sweet potatoes, or kale slaw. The place is spotless and the staff friendly and helpful. Very impressed!

I usually love Tropical Smoothie, but this visit was really disappointing. During a huge rush, one employee with medium-length dirty blonde hair was constantly on his phone with AirPods in and did not acknowledge customers at all. When I asked a question, he walked away without saying anything. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff was clearly working hard and having to make up for it. I waited about 20 minutes for my food, and in that time he only made one smoothie. The line did not start moving again until another worker stepped in. Very frustrating experience.

The associate helped me choose a smoothie that was perfect for my daughter who had just had a filling. I didn’t know what would satiate her hunger and what worked with her allergy. And he helped choose something that filled her up, fit her tastes, and avoided her allergy. I felt so much better sending her back to school with a full happy belly. He was really kind.

Great atmosphere and very inviting employees. Got the peanut paradise and husband got the detox island green smoothie. Both were very good. Only took a few minutes to make them. We come here several times a month. Always a good experience.

Excellent smoothie’s wide variety. Cafe food was delicious as well. All of it was freshly made. The interior and exterior were extremely clean. Lots of help so never wait more than a few minutes. You can eat in or take out. All employees are well trained, friendly and helpful. Everything is handicap accessible. Restrooms are very clean as well. Plenty of parking around the building.

I just moved to Fredrick and this is the second tropical smoothie I went to and I really love this place. They gave me extra of my smoothie without me even asking they hand delivered it to me while I sat down and the space is so clean and friendly environment too the staff was very welcoming very helpful.

I came in the drive through for a bowl, tried to substitute the no coconut for fruit but instead they added two portions of extra fruit which is not what I asked for. Of course I didn’t think much of the price that was said because I assumed they just upped their prices, I get my receipt and then learn that they put those two extra portions so I’m paying 14 dollars for a small bowl with “extra fruit” which i didn’t ask for. Then since I already paid they can’t do anything about it and don’t offer me anything. Not my first time having trouble with the work staff here, but definitely not planning on coming back soon.
