The food was outstanding. Every steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, seasoned just right, and incredibly tender. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients. The sides and sauces complemented everything beautifully.
Presentation was just as impressive as the taste. Each plate came out looking polished and thoughtfully arranged, making the meal feel like a full experience, not just dinner.
Service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff (Alex?) was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, with great recommendations and perfect timing throughout the meal.
Highly recommend — this is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. We dug in before we had a chance to photograph the main entree but highly recommend the creme brule. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Now the not so good parts. When we sat down, I noticed my napkin had maybe 5 ants crawling on it. Throughout the dinner, sporadic ants would crawl either on the plates or I would feel one on my arm.
We ordered calamari for an appetizer. When it eventually arrived, it was soggy. Think what day old french fries reheated in a microwave. Thats the consistency the calamari was like. Zero crispy texture.
It took 1 hr from ordering, for our dinner to arrive. The plates were the only thing hot. My wife got a NY Steak and I ordered a Filet Mignon. Both cooked for Medium. Only hers was medium, mine was nearly well done. Both steaks dry like eating a biscuit with no drink.
You are better off eating at the other establishments. For the price you pay, this was sloppy overall.
The place feels very upscale and the live piano player was a nice touch. The service from the hostess, to wait staff, to buss-boy were all great! The bread and sea-salt butter they bring you is good. We split a wedge salad and I ordered a cup of their butternut squash soup, both were tasty. I spotted a wagyu burger on the menu and sounded good. My wife ordered wagyu Bolognese. When the waitress returned she actually mentioned how good their burger was before I ordered and I commented how that was great because that’s what I was going to order.
When the food arrived, it was bland. It was edible, but lacked seasoning. I thought it was just my burger & I didn’t say anything. When I asked how her pasta was, my wife said “it’s ok” and I had to try it. Same. Lack of seasoning and bland. I don’t know if they afraid of spices in the kitchen or what. A shame really because the food quality was there. Beef on the burger was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. It had potential to be great! Pasta was beautiful and perfect presentation as you can see in the pictures, but just nothing there for the taste buds. I will say the parmesan fries that came with the burger were delicious though!
I know… it’s a steak house. Maybe we’ll have to go back to order a steak, but the couple at the table next to us had to ask for steak sauce after they tried the first few bite and that’s never a good sign.
A highlight was choosing our own Buck steak knives from a presented box. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the ambiance ideal for a special occasion.
We had (6) unforgettable dinner experiences. Two were when they brought out the Birthday Cake Desserts fully loaded with a Sparkler candle.
We had an amazing time and are eager to return.
