My husband and I had the dreamiest time at the Stockton Inn last night for our anniversary!
We started by the firepit outside with wonderful cocktails. Then we had a terrific 3 course meal on the romantically lit terrace. Lastly, we had dessert & cappuccinos in the sophisticated main dining room. It was kind of extra of us to move around like this but since it was a special occasion and the staff was so welcoming, we went for it. This night overall was so MEMORABLE! What a treat. They are absolutely acing the luxurious feel. Worth the price tag for sure. They also had a reasonable and lovely sounding prix fixe (we just opted for a la carte instead). Our favorites included : bramble Versailles cocktail, mushroom pasta, branzino, Brussels sprouts and the ice cream bar. So grateful this spot is back and better than ever. Can’t wait to come back soon.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience. The tavern is a small intimate setting, service is attentive. The wine offerings (by the glass) were above average. I had the Branzino and my husband had the scallops. Each cooked perfectly! Would definitely go back.

Where do I even start… AMAZING. The service, the food, the people, the atmosphere, all of it. I’d give it 6 stars if I could! The NA drinks were amazing, we tried the P.O.G and it was so good- you could taste each of the flavors (passionfruit, orange, guava). The hosts and servers were amazing, very kind and answered any questions we had!
The food was next level and in my book- perfect. We shared the crab & artichoke dip along with the steak tartar and finished with the tropical sundae. The dip was amazing, the bread given with the dip is amazing by itself but together they go perfectly. The steak tartar is so good between the flavors and consistency you can’t even tell it’s raw steak. The tropical sundae is definitely my favorite. It is light and refreshing after dinner, the flavors of the pineapple and coconut and subtle lime shavings go perfectly together. Definitely recommend, definitely worth the price, definitely coming back!

This was our third time dining at The Stockton Inn, and somehow they managed to outdo themselves yet again. We reserved the private room for our anniversary, and from the moment we arrived until the very last second of the evening, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
The staff is truly beyond incredible, warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the night special. Our waitress, Chelsea, was an absolute gem. She was so kind, thoughtful, and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive.
The bar program deserves its own standing ovation. Dylan, the mixologist, crafted four different tequila-based cocktails for us at my request, and each one was somehow better than the last. Creative, balanced, and beautifully executed, an experience in itself.
Sam, the restaurant manager, checked on us multiple times throughout the evening and was so welcoming and personable. It was clear that hospitality here isn’t just a job, it’s a priority.
Every single dish we ordered felt intentional, curated, and deeply thoughtful. The food was exceptional across the board, and knowing the chef is Michelin-trained, it honestly feels like only a matter of time before a star follows. The level of care, precision, and creativity coming out of that kitchen is remarkable.
Bravo to the entire team. The Stockton Inn continues to be a place we return to for truly special moments, and this anniversary will be one we never forget.

I had dinner with some friends on a Friday night and it was great atmosphere and place to spend time. I found it to be a weird space though and the wait staff was not the best. Food was delicious though!
We split the Focaccia and Pepperoni Pizza as starters. The pizza was very good. I got a Kale Caesar as my entree and it was delicious – covered in Parmesan cheese.
If you are in the area, definitely give this place a look!

Fantastic night at the reimagined and fabulously redone dog and deer tavern at the Stockton Inn. Our server Frank was friendly and attentive as was every employee we encountered. The cocktails were served in beautiful high quality glasses which I appreciate! Everything we ordered was beyond wonderful. Steak and burger cooked perfectly. Fresh seafood. Wonderful salad, crab claws, hot dip and focaccia. Outside area looks stunning and we loved the intimate cozy nature of our table inside. Only complaint is that we wish closer to Yardley, but we will back often. Worth the trek! Highly recommend and loved, loved!!

It was my 79th birthday. We were treated royally, even before we mentioned the occasion . We were seated in in the tavern area (there is a more elegant dining area, but the tavern was cozy, informal, and with very comfortable banquette seating). The food was incredible: my husband was delighted with a Brussels sprouts appetizer and my chicken liver parfait was amazing. It’s incredible what can be done with a humble chicken liver with wine reduction and pickled grapes and onions! For our main, we splurged on their “Meat and Potatoes,” a 32 oz. Ribeye served with hassle beck potatoes with a bearnaise aioli, and sauteed broccoli rabe with garlic ( normally hate the bitterness; this had NO bitterness). Could have fed 4 people easily; we will be enjoying the leftovers during the blizzard today! Dessert was a lovely Tiramisu with complimentary ice cream. When we mentioned that we had dined there 40 (?) years ago in its former incarnation, the Manager came out to chat with us for a while. What a memorable, gracious, and delicious experience. We will be back!
