But don’t miss this HH.
Here’s what I have tried so far and each dish was phenomenal: Burrata, Meatballs, Ciotola di Gnocchi, Grandma Gina’s Gnocchi, and Calabrese Pizza.
Grandma’s Gnocchi is an original family recipe so do try it. Melt in your mouth! The pizza dough has lots of love put into it via one of the owners and seriously, one of the best doughs around. The Calabrese salami is from the owner’s hometown in Italy. They either fly there to go get it or work with a vendor to get it for their pizza so this is a must try!
I mustn’t forget the espresso martinis! really good and they make it two ways, so you will have to try it both ways to find your preference!
I’ll be back…often!
The Brussels sprouts were undercooked, the gnocchi was undercooked and burned, and the general feeling of the table was that of tasting your 13 year old cousin’s first home cooked meal: “nice, buddy!” before you ingest what can best be described as edible.
From the service to the quality of the food, at best I can summarize it as not worth the >$100 we paid, especially when the best part of the experience was an imported bottle of wine.
Summary: go on a Thursday, get a half-off bottle of wine, and then go across the breezeway for some enjoyable food.
Chicken fettuccini was 2/5. It was super bland with no flavor whatsoever, and the chicken was dry. Would not recommend.
Seafood pasta was 3/5. I really didn’t like having sausage in this dish, though that might just be my personal preference. The salmon was also bland. The sauce was very tasty and the rest of the ingredients were nice.
A glass of Sparkling Rosé was good but very dry ( it did say dry on the menu, I guess I just didn’t expect it to be that dry ).
Our server Mark was very friendly and attentive. He checked on us often. Seating was quick and the food came out in pretty much no time.
Overall, stick to the pizza and you won’t miss out. The rest of the food wasn’t particularly outstanding in any way.
Wood fired pizza oven who could ask for more…. amazing Italian Wines and Prosecco yep nailed it.
Enjoy!
Everything was stellar—the warm customer service, the dishes that we ordered(Atlantic Salmon and a clam based dish both hit the spot), the wine and lemonade were great, and the welcoming vibe inside. They’ve an extensive lunch menu that they serve from until 4pm, we wanted to try all the seemingly scrumptious dishes in that menu. Their bar looked quite fancy too. The server serving the food kept checking in on us regularly to see how everything was. They’ve restrooms in the back.
We will be back here soon to try the desserts and other dishes. Thank you!
