We have been to Tokyo Teriyaki a few times and have always enjoyed the food there. My son requested food from here for his birthday party and while I hoped a large order would work out OK, I have to say that they did a great job with the quality and with packaging up so many items for a to-go order. We went in during the afternoon and pre-ordered and pre-paid for the meal to ensure that there was no miscommunication, and one of the employees or owner called us later to verify how we wanted the food packaged. Everything was ready to serve, all I had to do was either pull the foil off the large pans or cut the lids off the Styrofoam containers for easy serving. I definitely recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable meal, whether it’s for one person or 12 people.

Very good. It is nice to finally have really good teriyaki up on Redmond Ridge. The Sauce is good, but the sticky rice is near perfect. Generous portions. J, my server, is awesome.
Edit: After many visits, this place just becomes better and better. J, my server, is attentive and most definitely one of the BEST in an industry. Pleasant, Kind, and Really good food.

What a great find! My family and I were in the area and found Tokyo Teriyaki because of the raving reviews. This place did not disappoint! The establishment was clean and well furnished. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and patient, as we had 5 adults ordering. The food promptly came out and as everything else had been thus far, was top notch! Everyone, including two very picky eaters loved every bite!

Amazing food at a fair price, and big portion sizes. Usually have to save half for the next day cause it’s so much food, but it will still taste amazing the next day too! They have the best egg rolls I’ve ever had and I always order extra cause they’re so good 🙂

Food was very good…with large portions. Enough for two if you want to share a meal. The service was great. The young man taking our order was very polite and courteous. Definitely going back in the near future!

So, the people who run it are REALLY sweet but the food was not good. 🙁
We ordered chicken fried rice, tempura 8 piece, and tofu with veggies. The tempura wasn’t terrible (I think that’s a hard thing to mess up, especially if you’re just deep frying premade frozen ones). The tofu and veggies had absolutely no color of flavor. The fried rice had grilled chicken which makes sense since it’s a terriyaki place, but that in combination with poor seasoning made it pretty dreadful.
Would not go back, sadly.

Tokyo Teriyaki is the place we like to go when I’m in town visiting my friend up in Redmond. It’s a clean and friendly spot. They have great food. There’s always good music playing. And the people who own it and work there are simply wonderful. Hot tea is complementary and always ready.

Simply the best teriyaki in the vicinity of Seattle-Bellevue, I should say. The owner, Marvin, takes great pride in the quality of meat choices and prepares healthy dishes that his own kid can eat without any concern. Foods here are also very tasty. Oh the customer service! The staffs are very kind and friendly. Modern & clean interior makes the place even more attractive.

The owner is extremely friendly and cares about making sure your order is correct. Not only that, he goes out of his way to get to know you! As for the food, it’s delicious and fresh. I’m SO glad to have an amazing teriyaki restaurant on Redmond Ridge, the last one was barely mediocre. This one is excellent! I’d go out of my way to get teriyaki here, over any other place!

The owner is great! I really enjoy going in and talking with him. The food is well worth the prices and they aren’t bad prices. Large enough servings that you don’t feel jipped but small enough you don’t feel overwhelmed with food. Worth the drive if you don’t live close.
