We had such a great experience here! We had someone in our party who was trying oysters for the first time and Tori made it special. She took the time to explain the different types of oysters and helped us choose between east and west coast varieties. Would definitely go back!

We heard that Brine got a new executive chef so decided to try it out again this past Friday. I had been in the past, and while I liked the atmosphere, I wasn’t super excited about the food. This time was different. We really enjoyed the calimari and brussel sprouts to start. The corn bread with butter (complimentary) was delicious as well. I had the crab cake and a salad as my entree and both were great. My husband enjoyed the trout almandine as his entree. Excited to have a good seafood place in the Pointes! Oh, and while they didn’t have live music, I really enjoyed all of the music they played throughout the night.

We had heard mixed reviews, but left very impressed with Brine. We had the mahi mahi and scallops – both were delicious and so fresh! The service was attentive, but not overbearing. We went later in the evening and it was a fantastic dinner.

First time going today and it won’t be the last! The happy hour items were delectable and from a scratch kitchen. Service was great from the manager and bar tender. Everyone was pleasant and the atmosphere was esthetically pleasing. I’ll be coming back soon!

Went to dinner tonight at Brine, I’ve lived in Grosse Pointe for 12 years somehow never heard of or been here. It was outstanding, perfect atmosphere, perfect vibes, amazing service and great food. We had Michelle as our server and couldn’t ask for a better time. Knew the drinks and menu, great recommendations and a good sense of humor. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. 100% will be back soon.

Have been to Brine many times, always had excellent food and a great experience. Highly recommend the bouillabaisse and of course the oysters. They got their issues with changes in the chef sorted out months ago so don’t be afraid to go back. My wife and I enjoy this place so much we’re going back again tonight for New Year’s Eve.

Brine Oyster Bar was amazing! The food was super fresh and delicious, the place looked great, and the whole atmosphere was really chill and welcoming. Huge shout-out to Tori — she was honestly so sweet and made the experience even better. Definitely recommend especially when it’s your first experience triangle oysters.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. It is a fun pace to go out for a date or relaxing meal. We just ordered dessert, so I cannot speak to the entrees. We were slightly disappointed with the flavor of the desserts. They seemed a bit dry and not as flavorful/fresh as we expected, but that could due to us ordering at the end of the evening.
The service and cleanliness was superb.

The first thing that jumps out at Brine immediately is the ambience. The interior is drop dead gorgeous. Not to be outdone by the interior the service was top notch as well. Our server was so kind and offered so many helpful suggestions to our oyster rookie group. The oysters were delightful and our meals were cooked and prepared to perfection. We loved our time at Brine and we will be back.

I have high hopes for Brine’s success. The ambiance is truly remarkable, evoking the vibrant spirit of NOLA with its decor, complemented by live jazz on the balcony. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness enhance the experience, ensuring guests are well looked after. While the food we tried was enjoyable, and we had several dishes, I missed something that excited me. Nevertheless, I believe in their potential to refine their offerings, given their dedication. I look forward to returning, I believe Brine has all the elements to thrive and deliver an outstanding dining experience. A unique place in the Grosse Pointe community worth checking out.
