First time at Queen’s cafe. Decided to spend a girly coffee date with a friend. She got the brown sugar royalty. I got the caramel banana pudding. Both drinks were amazing! I never finished a drink so quick!! In addition to our drinks, we had their avocado toast. The food was just as good as the drinks! So good that I ordered two drinks to go. Customer service was top notch, as our barista/server was helpful and super friendly. Definitely sharing this gem and going back with friends.

Love coming here. Everything about this café feels intentional and authentic, from the staff to the family-style atmosphere, the food, and of course the drinks. It’s a small space, but the owner does so much with what she has, and it shows.
Queens’ Café somehow manages to be family-friendly, kid-oriented, adult-driven, and community-centered all at once. There’s local art and goodies for sale, events that actually bring people together, and a menu that beautifully blends Egyptian, American influences. Which you feel not just in the food, but in the people.
The coffee and specialty drinks are consistently amazing, the food (especially the wings) never misses, and the energy is unmatched. The owner is hands-on, honest, welcoming, and unapologetic about her standards. Anyone who says otherwise probably came in with the wrong energy.
This place is a true gem. Coffee, specialty drinks, food, wings, events, culture! It’s all here. Highly recommend.

A hidden gem !!! Today I went to dine in for the first time and right away I was greeted. The place itself is very clean and cozy. I ordered the strawberry kiss ( strawberry matcha ) and a breakfast sandwhich on a bagel. My food and matcha were delicious. The girl who took my order and made my drink was very sweet. She even thanked me for coming in. Everything about this place is a 10/10. I will definitely be back.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

One star because I had to make a selection…

I was at the Queen’s Cafe approximately a year ago, had a decent experience and decided to order take out Tuesday, 3/3/2026. I ordered grilled chicken Caesar salad and an iced tea. I arrived and was greeted pleasantly by the team member at the counter. I paid my bill of $23.00 for the salad, Iced tea and a cookie.

As soon as I picked up the bag with my salad in it, I knew something was going to be wrong. I returned to my office and opened up what turned out to be a huge disappointment.

The salad was in a standard large size Styrofoam container. The amount of romaine lettuce was pathetic. It was evenly spread on the bottom of the container approximately 3/4″ high. The container was approximately 1 1/2′ high.

The lettuce was chopped up into small 1/2″ pieces. The chicken appeared to be one slice from a standard chicken breast, was approximately a 1/4″ thick, and was overdone. Nonetheless, I was extremely disappointed because the quantity and quality surely did not match the $15.95 that I paid for this. I ate in three minutes.

I then stopped at the cafe two days later to speak with someone to voice my displeasure. The original team member was not present, but I was greeted by another female who appeared to be the manager. I calmly spoke with her discussing my experience and my displeasure with the quality/quantity of the salad. She clearly did not care and stated twice that they have not ever received a complaint about the salad. I asked if she was willing to do anything about the matter and she made no attempt to resolve it. No refund, no complimentary drink or baked good. NOTHING. Not even an apology.

I told her I would never be back and walked out the door.

This place is owned by the people that used to have the old Queen City Diner in Reading. I loved going there and was sad to see it close. But that was a different time, and the food quality is not the same at all.

The menu is somewhat deceiving as well. When looking online at the Queen’s Cafe website, the menu shows they have wings available for lunch. However, when you call and ask for wings, they only have them on Friday. The “order online” menu has two entries for wings. The one described above and then one for “”Secret Sauce Wings” which is on Friday till 2pm. So, which is it? you have wings or not?

I would NOT recommend getting food here at all based on the quality in addition to the lack of caring about my complaint.

Today, I met the owner, who had kindly agreed to prepare my pre-order in advance since the original order didn’t go through. When I showed the screenshot, just to make sure I wasn’t charged, I felt a bit of unexpected tension and defensiveness, which caught me off guard.

The matcha also tasted different from usual and much sweeter, almost like a milky sugar cookie with barely a matcha flavor which made me confused if I ordered the correct drink. I ordered the light vanilla matcha that I’ve always enjoyed here. I probably wouldn’t have mentioned the drink on its own, but the interaction left me feeling a little uncomfortable. Prior to this I’ve had very great interactions with the staff, very professional and quality drinks and followed and appreciated the owners story I found online so a bit disappointed. I also would come to support local and purchase an artists item each time, but unsure if I’m able to come back.

Located “inside” the Federal Credit Union which made me circle for a bit, but once I found it pleasantly surprised. Matcha latte with vanilla and avo toast is delicious! Great ambiance/service, local artists promoted and overall great find for my 2-hour work commute. Just glad I can call and order in advance! Will be my new morning stop 🙂

Atmosphere is cozy, the workers are super sweet, and the food is always delicious and fresh. I tend to get an iced coffee with lavender, caramel, and French vanilla. It’s combined perfectly every time. While I do think everything is a bit expensive, I understand why and it’s honestly worth the price in my opinion.

This a very unassuming spot. You enter an office building but then quickly feel transported to a quaint cafe in Europe on a side street.
I love the touches of art on the wall, to the variety of glassware and tea/coffe cups and saucers. It’s the little things. The staff are very friendly and quick to please
I gave food a 4 bc although it was good everything was “flat” the eggs I wish were fluffy , the bacon was paper thin . It was good don’t get me wrong but not $13 dollars good.
The latte was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The kunafa if you never had it is consistency of shredded wheat so that was a little strange when last sip was a mouthful of that. The drinks are pricey – but I figure people spend that and more on cone of ice cream or pint of craft beer.
I love that they have open mics and taste of Egypt nights. We will be Back and try something else

Wanted to take this time to thank Queen’s Cafe for being my go to when it comes to coffee, amazing food and atmosphere. Their ggs benedict with a side of arugula salad is spot on. Yes it typically comes with a side of potatoes but I chose the healthier option. I love that they are willing to customize any plate to my liking. I highly recommend you heading over to Queen’s for your next cup of coffee and breakfast/lunch.
