Scuttlebutt is a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and Friday dinner (reservation only – you can book every Tuesday for that Friday’s dinner through our email list or Instagram). We are a place where friends and family can gather over a good cup of coffee or a glass of wine and a freshly prepared, delicious meal. We are very much an “all day cafe”, not a cook to order breakfast restaurant. We offer breakfast sandwiches, made fresh daily baked goods, lunch sandwiches, and specials, and almost every item is made in house. While we don’t have traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast, have lists to offer! Menu examples in photos. Breakfast hours: 8AM – 11:30AM Lunch hours: 12PM – 2PM Dinner hours (on applicable days): 4:30-8PM

I was visiting the town for work and this shop makes you feel like home. The coffee is great!! The team at the counter was amazing and super friendly.
The service is quick and efficient. Some of the best avocado toast I’ve ever had, the fried egg was cooked to perfection.
I’m sad that I won’t be in town long enough to try more of the menu!!

One of my favorite local coffee shops that focuses on fresh, quality ingredients and a rotating weekly menu. They have an amazing patio that is shaded and perfect for catching up with friends on the porch. I’ve come for coffee, snacks and sandwiches and have loved everything I’ve ordered. The first visit I had ordered a plain latte and didn’t care for the flavor profile, but their mocha is delicious. Can’t wait to try their cocktails on weekend evenings. Note in lieu of accepting tips they charge an 18% service fee onto your check.

I love coffee shops, but this one really is in the best spot in the adorable little town of Padanaram. The coffee is amazing and they have their own syrups made in house. Fridays they are open 8-8 plus other days and times. Alcohol is available as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Anything I’ve ordered I’ve loved. If you follow them on Instagram you can see the other great things they offer such as catered events. There are several other great stores to shop in the area including Folia a great Children’s clothes boutique and several gift shops. A short walk will take you to farm and coast market or for ice cream and a walk onto the bridge to view the harbor. Enjoy this top ranked small town in Massachusetts while you sip a coffee from Scuttlebutt!

This place is the real deal. Incredibly high amount of care put into the food and coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to see they sell Tandem coffee, which is a great coffee shop in Portland, Maine. My man operating the espresso machine is a true artist. That coffee is rich.

Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches and the breakfast potatoes have the perfect amount of salt.

Such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Pleasant people dine here who say hello and actually smile. Great choice of coffee and basic food choices but taste really good and really fresh. Cashier was super sweet in quickly suggesting items since I was a bit indecisive. Barista is amazing. Loved my iced latte! I’ll be back again for sure!

Was in the area, so I tried Scuttlebutt for the 1st time. Busy place, line moved quickly. Went with a ice coffee with a caramel shot. Added cream and sugar on the side. Thought it was okay. Went with a pulled pork, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel. Came out piping hot thought it was pretty good. Bagel was a little over toasted. Perfection was expected and not quite achieved. While at the coffee cream station, a bottle of Rosemary Serrano caught my eye. Put a little in a sauce cup they had available. Added a little to my sandwich and it added a nice kick. Street parking is available, but limited. Was going to take a scone to go, but the flavor of the day didn’t appeal to me. $16 for an ice coffee and breakfast sandwich. Prepare yourself. place has nice decor. Soak it in.

Good seatings and nice shades available. The carrot cake was good but a bit too much icing and no nuts. If you are ordering matcha latte, don’t say “matcha latte” because we got a regular “latte” instead. They want to hear only “matcha”.
