I like finding spots for particular dishes, and still come here occasionally for kung pao + Singapore noodles. A couple years ago this kung pao was some of the best I’ve ever had, a unique kind of sweet and spicy, though lately it’s been more generic, inconsistent, and like 75% carrots-celery. That being said the food is always very fresh and well seasoned, plus they mind the order notes well which I appreciate. Waiting time is usually around 25-30 mins in my exprience

This review is overdue! My boyfriend and I order takeout from Oriental Cafe at least once every few weeks. We remain faithful customers because the quality of the food is always on-point (obviously fresh and high quality compared to other restaurants in the area), the prices are fair considering the economy is what it is right now, and they’re open on the later side. We have yet to be disappointed. My only wish is that they’d add fried wontons to their appetizers because those are my favorite! But other than that– amazing– no notes. Keep it up, thank you guys <3

Beef with onion is actually onion and beef. The bowl was full of onion and peppers with a small amount of beef. Fried rice was good but didn’t have flavor. I’m giving 3 stars because the beef it did tasted good.

Ive been a loyal customer from this location for 3 years and have only had a problem 1 time where I wanted to get a partial refund from my last order. I got delivery but they asked me to come into the store to get a refund and I did that, no problem. I call to place another order like 2 weeks later and they are denying me service. They won’t take my order after this 1 issue from 100s of previous orders. I find this to be a big red flag in the service industry. And i liked the food, so this was extremely disrespectful.

This place is less than 5 mins away from my house, but I never thought to try it until one of our closest friend told us they drove all the way from Clarksburg to pick up their food!

This place is only for take outs and delivery, I loved their plexiglass addition with a handle bar to deliver food to you. I loved that I didn’t have to get close to her and I am sure the restaurant employees feel the same way about it too.
Food was alright, typical Chinese food, not sure if it’s worth 30min drive. Their portions are generous and price is decent. If we are craving Chinese food, we would try them again for sure.

Oriental Cafe has become our go-to for outstanding Chinese takeout! Although I haven’t dined in yet, every takeout experience has been outstanding. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared very well. Each dish is packed with great taste, and the portions are generous – definitely getting our money’s worth!

Very nice local family owned Chinese restaurant popular with students and faculty from Shady Grove University. They have all the usual Chinese favorites as well as special vegetarian and healthy options. One nice menu item is the ability to choose your favorite protein, vegetable and sauce and they’ll cook it for you. Parking and traffic is much better here compared to nearby Fallsgrove.

They make my favorite Sesame Chicken. Ladies working here are nice. Small discount for paying cash. I’ve carried out and eaten in at the tables. Not fancy, very basic, but I like it. I used to live close and ate there often, but now I’m farther but still go here for my Sesame chicken fix.
