Reviews
You’re at the airport. You make the noble sacrifice. You choose the salad.
And if you end up here… congratulations — you’ve made a terrible life decision.
These salads are plain, tasteless, and about as exciting as a pre-packaged bag you’d find hiding in the back corner of an Albertsons produce aisle, quietly wilting since last Tuesday.
I took the plunge and instantly regretted it.
It’s not fresh.
It’s not flavorful.
And there’s a reason there’s absolutely no line.
Do yourself a favor and walk next door to Burrito Beach (pretty sure it’s the same owner, which makes this even more confusing). Way better options. Way better food. Actual seasoning. Actual joy.
Plainly put: the Smoothie/Salad situation delivers exactly what you’d expect from “healthy airport dining” — a bland, joyless experience that makes you question why you even try.
Eat the burrito.
Your taste buds deserve better.
Do yourself a favour and don’t dine here if you are stuck for options. It might be one of the more healthier options, but it’s sure not the most hygienic!!!!!
Verdict: tastes good, not overly sweet (I think they added honey? Saw something not in the description). Good for those craving a non-bottled/sugary juice.
Service: I understand no one wants to deal with a line already 6 people deep 5 min before opening, but a hello/good morning from either one of the two people working would have been nice. At least they were fast!
Ambiance is N/A, it’s a grab and go place. Including updated pics of menu and hours.
-recommend: fat-free frozen yogurt instead of juice. The yogurt was exceptionally tasty!
Very first time at this establishment and safe to say that it isn’t something I would crave and due to the customer service, I definitely wouldn’t be back even if I did.
Upon arrival, a lady was helping another customers with her salad. A short skinny guy with a Burrito grill shirts asked if I was ready. The guy had absolutely no customer service experience, mono tone, direct which made him seem rude. Being from Los Angeles and I myself being Hispanic I understand the culture and behaviors but unfortunately he did not belong in the front counter helping out customers. I would be extremely disappointed if he owned the place because, woe!
The girls was mono tone as well and seemed like she did not want to be there.
O well, smoothie was good, for an airport location.
