Looking for a new breakfast spot? This was the most relaxing breakfast experience. What a view? Quiet with outside seating and a lake view. Everyone who works here is so happy to be here. That’s a sure sign that you are going to have a great meal. Extremely reasonable prices. You don’t have to be a member or even want to play golf to appreciate this beautiful oasis of peace and tranquillity.

The reason why I am putting 1 star is because there was absolutely no one to wait us in. We went downstairs and saw a group of people chatting and laughing by the bar area. There was no one else dining there when we got there so after waiting for a few minutes we left because I was not going to the bar area with a bunch of guys just hanging around chit chatting to get someone’s attention. Definitely did not feel customer service friendly. Probably is a good experience for actual members and people that go there to golf and not for the general public.

The experience was great. It’s on a golf course and is nice and quiet. Not being a member or whatnot, we were directed right away how to get to the Tavern. We got there around 11am, hoping to get breakfast. Unfortunately, they stop serving breakfast at 11am. (My only suggestion would be to put this on their website. This would be the only reason for 4 stars, because everything else was great) But they were willing to put a fresh pot of coffee on. The food was excellent. We shared the nachos and they were so good, we almost ate the whole thing. My boyfriend got the tuna melt and it was overflowing with tuna. My sloppy joe was also quite full and the bun was so soft.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Good quality, food portions and even serves on the patio with beautiful views across the lake. Open to public so don’t need to be a golf member.

My family and I had Easter Brunch here as we do every year. Only downside was the carving stations didn’t have lamb. However, the food that they served us was exquisite. Between the ham, the sides, and the Bloody Mary, I had to unbuckle my belt when my boyfriend and I got home, I just couldn’t stop eating! Mind you, normally I don’t do huge meals, I graze, so that should clue you in as to how good the food was. The pricetag was $50 per head, but it’s all you can eat, and you will eat all that you can, trust me. Well worth the price, especially if you don’t feel like cooking on Easter. This was the third year we did this, and I feel safe in saying this will probably be a permanent family tradition.

Four a restaurant rated a 4.7 I would not go back food had to be heated. Website has not been updated. Choices are very limited and prices did not match menu. The pizza parlor on 2 a few miles away is much better. The rest of the party even said walburgers was a better choice… or Prime. If staying at foxwoods. No pics non worth taking.

Typical golf course bar/restaurant, but lunch was terrific and a huge portion for a great price. Worth stopping after your round of golf!
