Reviews
It’s right next to the mall — only a 3-minute drive, super convenient
The moment I walked in, it already felt like a plus.
The whole space has a complete Korean-style design with traditional roof tiles and wooden details, creating a strong atmosphere.
That big cow statue at the entrance is great for photos too
The service is thoughtful as well — ordering and changing grill plates were smooth and efficient.
This time we went with the Premium All-You-Can-Eat BBQ .
They don’t pre-cut the meat — everything is sliced fresh after you order, almost like a butcher shop.
You can really tell the difference in freshness when the meat hits the table.
Quick tip: since it’s AYCE, definitely reorder the higher-quality cuts a few times — it’s totally worth it ✨
⭐ Key points to remember:
This isn’t just AYCE BBQ — the food is AYCE too!
Over 40 dishes are included, such as eel rice bowls, cold noodles, beef bibimbap, bento boxes, and stone pot bibimbap.
Everything is made to order, not pre-made and sitting around — and you can really taste the difference.
Canned sodas are also included
And on Fridays and Saturdays they’re open until 1:00 AM, perfect for late-night cravings
Overall, I’d say this place is great if you’re:
✔️ Looking for a better meal after shopping
✔️ Wanting meat but not just BBQ
✔️ Planning a group meal where you can eat and chat at a relaxed pace
If you’re near Cerritos, this spot is definitely worth trying.
The service was excellent as well. Staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.
And the sides… wow. The 40 side dishes that come with the meal were absolutely spectacular so much variety, all fresh, and they really elevate the entire experience.
Overall, this place delivers on quality, service, and value. I would highly recommend Gogi Korean BBQ to anyone looking for a top KBBQ spot. Definitely coming back.
Located close to Knott’s Berry Farm, it’s become the go-to for Korean BBQ after a day at the park. The interior is clean, modern, and stylish, with a really nice vibe.
Their menu offers nearly 100 different items, and ordering is super easy—just use the tablet at your table, no need to flag down a server. You can order up to eight items every 10 minutes, and the food comes out fast. There’s also a self-serve bar with salads, fresh fruit, banchan, soft drinks, and even slushies—all unlimited!
Unlike most grill-your-own BBQ places, here the staff grills the meat for you. They also change the grill plate frequently—such attentive service!
We went with the premium menu, and the highlights were:
Premium Short Rib & Ribeye – beautiful marbling, perfect fat distribution
Beef Tongue – tender and springy
Butter Salmon – so fragrant and cooked just right
They also have a ton of mains and appetizers like fried chicken, salmon rice bowl, eel rice, tofu soup, black bean noodles, and tteokbokki—all made fresh after you order from the iPad. The table next to us had the spicy fire noodles, and it smelled amazing! Too full to try this time, but definitely ordering it next visit.
Plus, the parking lot is huge—plenty of spaces. They’re open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, perfect for late-night eats! And if you go Monday–Saturday before 4 PM, it’s just $24.99 for all-you-can-eat.
A must-try for KBBQ lovers!
Who gets this!! The set meal I ordered was actually amazing
All-you-can-eat thick-cut beef tongue (seriously thick! Springy! Savory!)
Eel rice bowl, curry pork cutlet, cold noodles, soup dumplings, salmon roe rice, salmon, shrimp… You’d never be able to eat this much for this price outside?! Such great value!
I got the middle-tier one for $42, and nothing was a disappointment!
Thick-cut beef tongue: So satisfying… Crispy, springy, and juicy, it gets devoured the second it comes out!
Salmon & Shrimp: Super fresh, and the grilled salmon is so fragrant with its oils.
You can order as much shrimp as you want without a second thought.
The Wagyu beef quality I had was top-notch~ so delicious.
Eel Rice Bowl / Curry Pork Cutlet: Perfect for switching up the flavors in the middle of the meal.
Everything is made to order, so the flavors aren’t skimped on.
Pork Rib Rice Bowl: Delicious and savory~ the two kids loved it.
Soup Dumplings: Didn’t expect to find these at a Korean restaurant, but they were surprisingly good!
They have so many side dishes, I couldn’t finish them all
The in-store experience is seriously top-tier!
Ordering on the iPad is super easy (great for introverts)
The staff grills for you and keeps changing the plates, service is very attentive.
Sodas and smoothies are free refills! Side dishes and salads are self-serve!
The restaurant is super photogenic with great vibes
Arrive before 4 PM and enjoy lunch prices for all dishes! Starting from $24.99~
Open until 1 AM on Fridays/Saturdays, perfect for a late-night snack!
Gogi The
Right near Knott’s Berry Farm
So convenient to come recharge after a day at the park!
It’s in a separate plaza with a huge parking lot, plenty of space
All the side dishes, lunch box, drinks, and even fruits are included in the price, which makes it an incredible value in today’s market. However, I think the restaurant could focus a bit more on improving the overall flavor and seasoning of the main dishes. The quality shouldn’t rely on being “good for the price” — with just a bit more attention to taste, this place could easily become one of the best Korean BBQ spots in the area. Still, it’s a great place for casual dining, group meals, or anyone looking for an affordable Korean BBQ experience without compromising on cleanliness and service.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, always checking on our grill and making sure we had everything we needed. perfect for a family dinner or night out with friends.
We went with the A+B combo ($42). Highly recommend:
• Thick-Cut Beef Tongue: tender and springy, with a slight char, perfectly balanced flavor
• Hand Cut Short Rib: beautifully marbled, juicy, a must-try!
• Hanging Tender: tender and flavorful, melts in your mouth
• Outside Skirt Steak: rich meat flavor, chewy but super tasty
The Unagi Stone Bowl Rice is a must! Generous portion of eel, almost covering the whole bowl, slightly sweet sauce, crispy scorched rice at the bottom—it’s so satisfying when mixed together
We also tried some sides:
• Fried Chicken: crispy on the outside, juicy inside
• Jajangmyeon (Black Bean Noodles): flavorful, not too greasy, pairs perfectly with the meat
• Tofu Soup: freshly made, served piping hot, so comforting
Ordering via the tablet was super easy, dishes came out fast, and the staff even helped grill the meat carefully
Tips: Open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, perfect for late-night gatherings. Lunch is also a steal—$25 gets you the full menu!
Let’s be honest: the phrase “All-You-Can-Eat” often comes with an unspoken asterisk. It can imply a trade-off: quantity for quality, value for service, a chaotic atmosphere for a relaxed meal. Gogi Korean BBQ shatters that expectation entirely. This isn’t just a great AYCE spot; it’s a stellar Korean barbecue restaurant that happens to offer an unlimited menu, and it sets a new standard for what the genre can be.
From the moment I walk in, the experience is elevated. The modern, clean interior is buzzing with energy, filled with the irresistible aroma of grilled meat, but without the frantic clamor of lesser establishments.
But what truly makes Gogi exceptional are two things: the people and the food.
Service That Feels Like Family
A great meal is memorable, but service with genuine heart is what keeps you coming back. This is where hosts Bella, Anna and the team truly shine. They don’t just seat you and take your order; they greet returning guests with warm, recognizing smiles that make you feel instantly welcome. Throughout the meal, their attentiveness is flawless. They are proactive, ensuring your grill is changed before it chars and ensure you have everything I need even before I think to ask. They are the beating heart of the operation, orchestrating a seamless and incredibly pleasant dining experience. Their professionalism and warmth are a masterclass in hospitality.
Uncompromising Quality on the Grill
Now, for the main event: the meat. The most staggering achievement at Gogi is the quality of their proteins. In the AYCE landscape, one typically expects thinner cuts, more marinade to disguise, and selections that prioritize affordability over flavor. Gogi defiantly flips this script.
The meat selection here is, without exaggeration, comparable to what you would find at high-end, à la carte Korean BBQ establishments. The Galbi (marinated short ribs) are beautifully tender and richly flavored. The Bulgogi is sweet, savory, and perfectly sliced. The Pork Belly is thinly sliced and crisps up on the grill to absolute perfection. Even more premium options, like tenderloin and sirloin, showcase a level of freshness and marbling that is simply unparalleled in an unlimited setting. You can taste the quality in every single bite.
The Verdict:
Gogi Korean BBQ is a revelation. It proves that you don’t have to choose between endless portions and exceptional quality. With its top-tier meats, vibrant atmosphere, and service. Gogi doesn’t just win the AYCE category–it competes with the best Korean restaurants in the city, period.
Price Point: Mid-to-upper range for AYCE, but worth every single penny for the quality you receive.
